    Feed mine alpha racer with a bit butter and fat in! then meat off cuts! i have to split meals, as once a day was just no good for her, when we eat, we can only take so much Protein in, think it's only 24g at a time, the rest of it we just shit out!

    field craft is the key to your problem mate!! It don't matter witch way the wind is blowing walk the hedge row where the rabbits want to get back home so you cut them off! if you jump a fence or gate when you get over give it a few min's to settle down! plus if the land is uneven try getting down to the same hight as your dog and put the lamp on so you can see what they see! remeber you've got a good 4 ft hight above your dog's eyes! If you put the lamp on a bunny and it look's like a runner/twitching as if it's about to move, move the lamp round it in circles! plus when your spotting

    who makes the best dogmen??? well the one's who put the time in to the dog's,working or not! what is a good dog man??? I say a man who can read the dogs body language! and understand what his dog can and can't do! a good dog man will work round any limits the dog has, and not just put it up for sale as 100% working dog! 9 time's out or 10 it's the man who's at fault!     I do as i'm asked, or lose land, don't matter if their milky/old/young/ their pests, 75% are taken home the other 25% are left out for the red kites as thats what the man wants so that's what he get's! i'm out 4 time's a day with dog's, then lamp with dog for a few run's then slip the gun out as its hot and you'l soon burn a dog up in this heat even at 2am in the morning! as for ferreting, f*****g no way, unless its some nice short grass land!!
