Cheers for the grest day out guys.
Really enjoyed myself and was proud of Chase getting coursing reserve on his first time out.
Anyone know where I can find the pictures?
Nice meeting everyone.

I think alot of people will say something about the german shepherds hips.
Alot of gsds have bad problems with their hips/joints.
Just out of interest how much are they?
My 10 month old pup is 27tts. He has just started on the rabbits and is pretty good.
His only problem is his strike isn't the best and his turning is abit slow, however he still catches them.
Nice looking dog aswell, have fun with it.
I've done a search and couldn't really find a thread on Collie x Whippets.
I might be getting a 7 month old Collie x Whippet bitch in the next month, so am wanting to see pictures please.
Thanks in advance
Will
Thanks guys. The little thing will have lots of time too learn and will learn off my other lurcher.
Hopefully if she comes here she'll have a good life, with lots of nice long walks instead of being shut in a cage all day.
Well My mothers friend (dog trainer) has recently been working with a dog in her late training classes.
Its a 7 month old collie cross whippet. It has been shut in a cage 9 hours a day whilst its owners were at work and hadn't been walked much.
When they got back from work, the dog was let out the cage and is apparently wild when out of it (no surprisingly), so the owners decided that they were going to get the pup pts. Mums friend said that she'd find it a home. She may have one lined up but if not its mine .
Soo would it be to old to break to ferrets and sheep?
Cheers Will
nice dog pal he looks like an alsation cross. i can recall you saying that he isnt on an past post. what way he bred again.
Cheers mate, Hes a bitza.
Hes got collie, greyhound, Deerhound, beddie and whippet in him.
Had the day off school for teacher training today so was up and off out early with the lurcher.
On the way back we bumped into a lady with three lurchers. They were pets and werent worked but they looked very fit.
My dog was abit surprised to find dogs that could keep up with him and they had a good run around.
So my question is will keeping more than one lurcher keep the dogs fitter and faster because they run around at high speeds together?
Cheers.
