    Ok TFM, you say there is no proof of evolution, but what about dna, dna proves that we all share a common ancestor, that we are all related, all life on earth is related. There is the banana thing (paulus seems obsessed with the banana ) we share base dna with all life, and a common ancestor, who was not called adam. The true truth will be brought about as we learn more and more about DNA The fossil record also shows that the further back in time we go, the oldest rocks we look at, contain the most basic life forms, and that over time these life forms evolve into more complex life

    I'm swayed to the idea that aliens had some involvement in our evolution and perhaps started our belief in "gods" It just makes some sense to me, no evidence, but an interest in cave art and mythology and i smoked too much in my youth.

    I'm just down the road from you 'Haslemere' and I've got a open canoe and a 10 year old lad, we go out quite a bit. A great place for starting with the kids is Baisingstoke canal because it has no fast water just a nice gentle current, plus you can camp by the canal at Mytchett canoe center. You've said you have Jackets for the kids, then maybe drybags for kit, throw line, one drybag with one set of clothes for all plus towels just in case of capsize. apart from that get them out there and enjoy I'll have to have a look at the Baisingstoke canal, thanks joker

    Yes, i remember the wye valley from school trips :-) def have to take the boys there some time. We mainly play about on the river wey and the canals leading of of it. Been on the thames too a few times as it isn't far.
