Shit I forgot that bit... What an elaborate coverup by the Rothschilds!

It's not hard to think that at all it's hard to make it stick after all this time. Like the sheer amount of people that would have to bought of or bumped off to keep the secret. It would involve tens of thousands of state and federal employees sticking to a script. Not one leak. Ever. Possible? Probable? Okay. You trust this expert opinion from a paid government official but not from the others that dispute it? Yet structural engineers have explained it the way it's been laid out. Are they on the payroll? Who's payroll? That sounds a lot like confirmation bias.

Sorry you had to experience that. Genuinely.

I love how we're expected to suspend disbelief to consider that this would have to play out in total secrecy. As I'm sure your considerable research into this has revealed the scope of such a mission. Months if not years of planning. Ripping apart walls to remove material and place charges. Miles upon miles of det cord and the intentional damaging of support structure. In two buildings. At night, so as not to arouse the suspicion of over 50,000 workers and round the clock security. All while being able to avoid routine patrols by animals specifically trained to detect explosives

There's your swerve again. You missed the 'in secret' bit out. That little tidbit of information that allows you to completely misrepresent what I said. No mention that in 20 years no one saw any of the workmen carrying miles of wire and tons of explosive and strategically placing them while everyone looked the other way! You conspiracy lads are always worth a read! Thank you for your service!

What's your take on it then?

My point is that the THL consensus on government officials is that they're lying unless it supports your point. In this point @Francie says he'll trust the word of the fire marshall over that of a government official either ignoring or not realising that a fire marshall is bought and paid for by the state government. When I point to the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) 2006 "Federal Building and Fire Safety Investigation of the World Trade Center Disaster" report, a government document that contradicts conspiracy, I'm expected to believe it's all part of the co

As I said earlier in. I was in Manchester. Please explain how it happened to us. I'm dying to hear this one!

20 floors collapse onto one where the impact was. The floor they land on becomes 21 floors and that collapses onto the one below that. Eventually the weight of the concrete and the steel on top becomes more and the effect multiplies. Neither of us are demolition experts but while the controlled demolition riff is doing the rounds it would have taken months to set up and would have been impossible to do in secret. Okay...

The weight of the building above the impact site free fell onto the building below.

Jet fuel didn't melt steel and didn't need to to cause the catastrophe.

I don't believe that you believe a word you post. You're trolling. Simple. If I'm wrong, I'm sure you can come back after the apocalypse and say you told us so. That's okay though looking at the post count in GT these days there's plenty more you can work with I'm sure!

I'd say spend the extra 50p and go with the Bacofoil. It's guaranteed THL tough.

Mate. You're trolling and my morning coffee's going cold. You might want to shift pegs and try a better groundbait.

Please do this and post the picture from your bunker, holding the most recent edition of Popular Mechanics! We'll have a whip round for an item of your choice from the InfoWars website!

That's one thing I love about General Talk. If you start thinking you're way out there... Reclusive and you're drifting out of orbit... Just come in and have a read of some of the batshit crazy stuff in here! Medicine? Foreign Affairs? Structural Engineering? Metallurgy? The Bacofoil Brigade will sort you right out.
  19. I've noticed that too. It's almost like if you switch off the TV. Put the phone down and go outside, it's a lot like it was 10 years ago. Even 20. Maybe we all wouldn't be so wound up if we used the off switch now and again.
  20. I still can't believe @Greb147's trolling has turned into a 6 pager! Beauty pageants at that. Is this the new Sunderland thread?

Trafford Centre pushing my eldest son around in the pram. Heard the news and grabbed the wife from and headed home. Her friends in NY worked in tower 2 and with all the comms down she had to wait nearly 2 weeks to find out whether they were at work that day. Luckily they were out of state the whole week.
