We all done it some time or other, lets face it most land onwers+keepers dont like lurchers on there ground . Even with permission, you might see charlie and stray a little bit.??? BIRD never realised ya needed permission once it went dark! I find poaching more fun and you get a wider choice of where you can go ,but i never take what i wont eat and i try to leave no trace i been , mainly because permission has been hard to win and usually worked for and i wouldnt want to spoil it for someone who has permission and may be blamed for my act

If i was you i would leave well alone. if you want to have a whippet for work get your own. if you take that pup out and get it wrecked there will be a war iwould say. at my house my dogs are mine i look after them feed them walk them hunt them. no one else has any say and that the way it should be. my friends are all the same pretty much. lurcher get killed in the field terriers can suffocate ferrets get lost, that is my pain to suffer alone not for a wee girl or wee lad. i did staffman yep eric bred the litter and still does make breedings occaisionally always carefully planned and most are homed before they hit the ground , though he does have the odd surplus high quality pup available from time to time

i read somewhere (plummer maybe) belington cross whippets make good ferreting dogs n work rough cover well n that most dogs can lamp to varying degrees is this not correct then as i have no experience of beddys or the whippet cross but was considering a beddy whippet as a handy size mooching dog

Typical r ss pca only interested in self promotion nothing else, the dog looks like an american bulldog simular to my own bitch bet the rsspca put it down, too much hassle for them n no sensation headlines so they wont want to know, when i get my scanner working i ll put up a pic of a pitbull returned to its owner after rspca had it in custody a few months emaciated gaping kennel sores etc i never donate to them thats the best way to hurt em in the pocket dont donate
