Good point though some irish staffords are as good as pits imo

no totally different dogs : staff ampbt amstaff mastiff etc... all different dogs Staffords ,pits and am staffs all come from same bloodline, pits are from staffords imported well over a 100 years back, am staffs are bred from pits and some are regd as both , though there are distinct variation in the 3 breeds now due to selective breeding, though some can be easily mistaken for each other
