From what i can make out these other lads are a bit further along than me in terms of faith i still wouldnt say mine is cemented even though i lean that way.....i still have doubts and certainly have more questions than answers but having seen with my own eyes where strong faith and christian belief has taken certain people close to me its something i cant ignore and will continue to search for better understanding.......no i have probably never lived a good christian life,but apparently the Lord doesnt give a monkeys and will still accept me anyway so i cant lose i just feel its right and pro

I think thats just about the first post you have made Fraz that i really dislike.....most of the time i find your posts interesting and informative.......but to say you are desperate to help and defend people in need etc i find at best patronizing and at worst insulting.......i had a bit of a pop earlier in the thread at the way aethiests seem to have a need to tell us all whats best for our own good and here you are doing the same i dont get it......by all means say your bit and give your opinions but i dont need you there for me any more than i need aethiests there for me folk have to be lef

I understand we all have different tolerance and values etc.....but i cant understand how anyone would be happier with the consequences of near fatal injury to the consequences of shoplifting.......and to be fair im not sure i want to understand it either.

Doesnt matter if its a fair fight or not mate if the other lad dies your boys doing a few years in the shovel as a criminal simple as that.....its a naive attitude to have to think when men or boys get in " fair fights " they are breaking no laws and its morally more acceptable...........to me a property crime doesnt even compare to a direct crime against a person.... but thats just my view When I say a fair fight I mean one on one not a gang of lads kicking the life out of somebody ... Thanks for the advice mate.....its the cost of buying the bitch and then she doesnt even come in season that would be the worry ( not for me im just trying to find out on someone else behalf )..... like anything i guess the risk/reward needs weighing up.....cheers

Its not a case of finding it funny.................or thinking anything infact........its just a case of accepting that kids do stupid things,me and my pals were horrible little c**ts we often chat and laugh about things we used to get up to but if one of us dared start talking like some of the folk on this topic are talking we,d be put back in check straight away !...................Not everyone are sensible mature individuals from day 1

Lifes too short mate i merely made a remark saying how it strikes me funny how the group of folk who seem to have the most to say on a subject are the same ones who say that subject doesnt even exist i didnt want to get into a massive debate about it....im no fan of Dawkins but he,s true to his beliefs so you have to give him that.

We was discussing how stupid it is to be discussing the subject in " us and them " terms.........im pretty positive that the opposite to " us ".......is " them "....................therefore the way you keep referring to " us " aethiests and " them " theists i find pretty daft but hey no big deal ive already admitted im half a div and like you say some of us are not able to understand English as good as an educated chap like yourself so no argument from me

Might sound a little harsh but i was really dissappointed with Hopkins performance,people say what courage and guts he has to get in the ring at 50.....i dont see any courage whatsoever in hanging in to go the distance without actively trying to win the fight.....for someone of Hopkins stature and fighting spirit i expected him to give it a go.......boxing isnt an endurance competition its a fighting competition the fact he didnt win a single round on any of the judges cards suggests the fight wasnt competetive.
