    Unfortunately people will take pot shots and they can't be considered true hunters because when done properly, hunters should give full respect to their quarry. Anyone who doesn't give this repsect to their quarry is either thick or a very inexperienced hunter, either way I hope you get your permission to shoot taken away from you because you don't deserve it. Pot shots at live quarry are WRONG!     was just gona say get a hw97k there great rifles 1 of the best springers about ive had mine about a year now aint had 1 problem with it how are you getting on with your 1 mate?     Are you saying that i have no respect for the sport? you idiot i am here to learn i was only trying to find out what distance hunters are shooting there quarry and wether calibre or foot pounds made any difference i have only shot rabbits under 40 yards and i was expecting a bit more on target shooting, but what i have learnt is that there are plenty of sad cases like you around. If you do not have any useful information to give why bother.

    I chose that scope for other purposes aswell like long distance target shooting 70- yards .177 mate you can shoot a lot further than you think a large scope makes things a lot easier 8-32 zoom you can even see where the pellet went, microlux ete grade A japanese lense large 60mm objective bell grabs a load of light i can shoot quarry and targets at night and see birds in trees without a lamp, it also has locking rings on turrets i can scope it in at 40 yards go on a shoot then when i get home set it to zero and i am back to 20 yards. if i used it just for lamping it would be a waste like you

    I have a smaller side wheel aswell mate but this ones close to my trigger finger, being left handed i find it very useful.

The mount is a 30mm to 25mm bend it out slightly and placed masking tape underneath did not want to damage silencer, surefire torch 12v very powerful beam around £20 on ebay from china 1000mah batteries, its lot better than those 6v logun crap and a lot cheaper, it even out shone my mates hand held lamp.

    soak them in methalated spirits over night then hang to dry turps can also be used but i think a smell always lingers with turps Great thanks.

    Thanks a lot for the help mate, i visited DAI gunshop yesterday and they told me that the BAR custom and the v-mach were both the same cylinder off a fx airgun they give around 160 shots per fill .177 £140.
