  1. went out today to have a look at some new permission i got and i brought 1of my young terriers with me came across a few earths but nothing at home but my young bitch travelled them so looking forward to the season coming to get these terriers out properly and before any one starts i was asked to come out and have a look for any foxes about because the man that owns the land had 2 pea hens killed by a fox during the week so in order to get the permission i obliged got nothing but i will be out with the lamp this coming week
  2. if you are going to use it use the waggs worker but only as a mixer
  3. i use it but not on its own i collect the left over boiled chicken and beff from my local chinese take away every night and they get that mixed with it along with cod liver oil and a few mil vitaim b12 syrup every night and they are thriving on it

Me and a friend of mine go down to a place near Ballinasloe a couple of time during the season to a man that keeps a few cattle and conamara ponies he has about 350 acres and he looks forward to use coming down to do a bit of digging in the day and then lamping that night and then puts us up as his house which is a B&B that is how we met him when we were at the horse fair down there with stead in the B&B but the best thing is that he is a retired Guard and his 2 sons are guards at the moment but anything goes with him and we are aload to work away at anything we come across and he li

  7. my patterdale pup got stung on the head and her hole head swelled up and she looked like a staff with no eyes but i gave her a zertec that my son uses for hay fever and the swelling soon went down

  14. mate just keep at her ,at the moment the cover is at it's heaviest and it is hard work for some of the most seasoned bushing terriers but this time of year has one advantage of a lot of young rabbits about that should bring her on and come the winter when the cover has died off she should be going well
  15. nice dog mate i hope he keeps it up for ye .and keep protecting them game birds or move over here and dont worry about the antis or anyone else that has a problem with terriers doing what they are meant to

  17. A couple of pics of Australian Shepherdxgrey two litter brothers bred by me. The dog in the middle is a first cross the other two are collie/grey x tazi My old guy 11 now and retired last year although he caught a hare last week his sons were chasing I guess experience beats youth sometimes. He is a first cross Aussie x grey As to some of the other questions I do run the dogs without the falcon sometimes and other times the bird and dogs end up running different hares. My young dogs have both done quite a few hares including one dog one hare but usually the falcon is there doing
