  2. if anyone near Dublin gets a magpie in could they get in touch ,i cant get them in with bait ,the starlings get in first close and the trap

Went out with Dublin Dezzy for a bit of a lamp around some permission with the hope in getting a fox or a few rabbits,D.D had his 8 year old collie greyhound bitch and i had my 10 year old 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie dog,We have taken a few fox from this area over the season but there are still plenty about ,we seen a few but none were willing to come close enough to slip on,so it is looking like we will have to leave it until september to get back at them ,they seem to be all well educated now on the ways and calls of us lampers . But we did get a few slips on rabbits even thou there is not

  6. Glad to hear it Dan ,we took a chance breeding from the black and tan dog young but the rest of the pups that have being entered are doing well so far

A mate of mine runs a Terrier and Lurcher show every year in aid of Temple Street Children's Hospital ,Dublin and last year it raised over 2000euro that would of been put to great uses ,but do you think it would of being giving any credit by the media or anything but if there is a sponsered dog walk for the D.S.P.C.A or support needed for the I.C.A.B.S it would be all over the media

  10. I got the permission from the farmer on the opposite side from the farmers house yesterday aswell ,i had a quick walk about and found a couple of likely spots but nothing in them yesterday ,but another spot for the future
  11. i was gona drop her in but being on my own ,it's hard to keep an eye on max while your digging,he would be through the lead and down with her without ye even noticing him
  12. the lads where a no show on this big dog ,just me and 3 of mans best friends,and probably one of the most relaxing days out all season

  14. My 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie was a good hare killing dog in his day ,10 year old now but he would take 3 or 4 turns out of them and would make his strike at any time of the season,but saying that he had a few head over heals moments as well
