  1. Listening to the radio last night, they interviewed one of the fella's who put the boot in on the burning terrorist, he said he saw the the terrorist attack a policeman, his words were " That's na happening, not in my town".
  2. Thanks, it's not quite as tidy during the moult but as soon as he's on the bow at the beginning of the season it'll get a lick of paint, there's a possibility we'll be moving house later in the year so it looks like I'm gonna have to do it all again.
  3. Heres my set up, I used plastic overflow pipe on my window as it a has a little of give in it.
  4. The world's second most unlucky hunter. Couldn't even win that could ya.

  5. Mines almost gone back to normal and that messer Thurso Jack keeps making comments on me profile and I can't read them, I'm getting emails saying I've got comments when I click the link it takes me to the forums page?
  6. Graham I was going on there about 3 years ago and got to know a load of people, then the site became more popular and load of new people joined, I use to contribute a fair bit then then I got slagged for putting up a photo of myself with an eagle and her falconer. I couldn't see reason behind it maybe they were bored that night anyway I stopped going on after that, couldn't be bothered with it. But you're right it's great for information.

  11. I wasn't really looking for ticks, more concerned with releasing him without getting nailed.
  12. Could have been ferral mate, he was pretty big and pretty mad, he looked in top condition though. This the second one in the last couple of years. John I know theres more to it I was just being a knob. Lifted the snares today anyway as I can't garentee I can check them twice a day this week as I like to.
  13. Thanks for clearing that up john, a polecat was definitely not my intended species, I don't enjoy cutting me snares.
  14. I was out today at a rabbit control job I've been picking away at and in one of the snares was a polecat which was pretty p*ssed off, the lady of the house came down as she'd never seen a wild polecat. Anyway she asked if it possible to get it in a box and tame it. I told her to crack on, theres no way I was gonna try get it in a box, so I managed to release it unharmed with the aid of a broom and a pair of side cutters. Anyway has any one on here caught and tamed a wild polecat?
  15. I live not far from the Brindeds I was gonna visit them in a couple of weeks for some nets, I'd heard they were slow with their delivery, but I put that down to the shite postal service up here, I'd not heard of crap quality, I don't think I'll bother me arse going now. Is it the son thats p*ssed the whole time, that'll explain why they've spent the last few years living in a caravan while they build their house, the block work is still only a couple of courses up.
