    But you will need to have Canada`s or Birds of some description on your FAC as it is highly unlikely that they will be covered under the term vermin.

    They have not been taken off the general licence. Under the wildlife and countryside act ALL wild birds are protected. The general licence allows for listed birds to be controlled where necessary. This does not mean that birds listed on the general licence are vermin. They are still classed as wild birds and are protected by law, except where the general licence allows for culling. eg To protect arable of for health reason.     Convictions count, even spent convictions need to be declared and will be taken into consideration. A conviction for violence in the recent past would make it highly unlikely that your application would be considered.

    A Spaniel will do the job with no problem. But do not allow it to work game or rabbits until it is 100% on deer otherwise you may find it attention and focus distracted from the job in hand.

    Depression alone is not a reason to revoke a certificate. There is no need for any loopholes. Depression is not an abbreviation for suicidal, homicidal maniac!!! BASC can and will help, but you may need to keep pushing them.

    A tragedy, nothing can bring them back, nothing will make up for the voids left in the lives of the victims families. So many factors are to blame and together they caused the death of the 96. They should be remembered never forgotten.

    A mate has the litter brother to Pete's stud dog by Jay. Jay is a good choice of dog I do He is a very strong powerful dog, soft mouth, very loyal and loves to hunt with plenty of drive and pace, he is getting better and better as time goes on. This year should see him winning, after a few COMs and a 4th place in his first season. He is also a very soft natured dog, so needs gentle handling. Anything more than a growl is to much so you need able to understand the dog rather than using physical correction.

    Use a SAK mod here and it does the job well and under £50.00 I use the Utra on my full bore but it costs £300

    Get in touch with BASC. The police have a duty of care towards you and the public, but depression on its own is not a valid reason to revoke a certificate. They will probably tell you they are investigating your suitability, demand to know a time scale for the investigation and that you intend to fight for the return of your cert. The terms of a cert say that the police must be satisfied that you do not represent a risk to public safety. If as you say there is no issue then you are entitled to your ticket back. As you say it is the principle.

    Just looked, very impressed. And full marks for showing them, many hide them away and are not brave enough to admit they are supporters. Thank you, i have lost work by having the hunting shots on there. I'm proud of what i do and would never allow anyone to make me feel wrong for being so. :clapper:

    childish Its not the amount of money you earn that makes the man. If someone is ripping off blokes then they should be named and shamed, its hard enough to make a living these days without being robbed.

    I feed raw chicken, rabbit, turkey and tripe to all my dogs. Bones and all, the best way to feed and gives healthy fit dogs ready for anything.
