  1. I have a part trained ESS dog FTCH X FTCH. Lovely dog ideal shooting companion. Steady to flush and thrown dummies. Has been shot over. Excellent retreive and delivery. He just needs finishing

  3. I used to run a 2nd cross beddy whippet in the beating line on a prestigious pheasant shoot. She was excellent in the line, would find and flush and watch them away. She would take rabbits and hares though this did cause problems if they went forward.
  4. all pups are immuned from all this until they are 12 weeks old with the mothers milk so best to do them at this age not younger. Protection from the dam starts to fade from 6-8 weeks. Its personal choice when you do it but most vets do them at around 8 weeks. I also do mine at this age.

Annual revaccination recommended.   8. My pups have arrived, a litter of Cocker and Springers. Both litters bred to keep a pup or two back for myself.

  10. That is really good to hear. Lots of effort and care went into producing these pups and if you're going to do it then it should be done properly. Great to know that you are happy with the little guy.

Pups have been legally docked and D/C, KC registered and come with 6 weeks free insurance and puppy pack.   14. Just keep them apart until she is finished. I know of a bitch that took from an accidental mating on day 3 and others that have taken past day 14, who knows exactly what days is when. Just keep them separated and you will have nothing to worry about.

  16. I feed tripe and little else, not the watered down commercial stuff but whole green tripe direct from the abattoir. I know many people say its not a complete diet but my dogs thrive on it.

  20. No, field spaniels are a totally different breed The smaller types of Springer are favoured at the moment within the field trial world, perhaps this is what you mean by "field"
