Yes agree, but I'd say if you read the small print in the deal. It will be due to rise in 10 years time with the trend towards higher level industries in Europe or that's at least what the politicians hope for....

    Brexit

the only shit stirrers with regard to the Brexit deal is ...........drum roll..... The British government and elected members of Parliament. Ye want to leave, voted in Parliament not to leave without a deal....didn't know what deal Ye wanted, voted down the deal May got.....are leaving now without a deal....all the while Boris and co are still rabbiting on about getting a good deal if the E.U drops the backstop.... So if Ireland agrees to no Backstop will Ye then agree a deal?

    Brexit

Doesn't sit well with me. With the mercosur deal, the E.U. has agreed to allow in 99,000 tonnes of South American beef into Europe for resale, mercosur wanted 350,000 tonnes to come in. The trade deal has been ongoing for 20 years. Agriculture has been sold out to its detriment everywhere in Europe over the last 50 years, even though it's getting more efficient and still a main business driver in all European countries with lots of other industries living off the back of it. The beef protestors in Ireland are protesting outside factories at the price been given by the processors

Ireland is very good at doing deals behind the scenes.......think thatcher.....Boris should be doing serious chatting to Varadker.....be interesting who will fold on Backstop.....Europe or Boris....still think in 3 years time....things will still be the same in Britain after Brexit......very little work done on deals.....USA one probably done as Trump wants to weaken the UK.

Here's, what i see now........Boris is taking ye out on the 31st come hell or high water.....unless Parliament can block him....I'm not au fait with the workings of the U.K. Parliament, but I don't think Corbyn and remainers can agree on anything....therefore ye crash out....cue confidence vote....general election.....yep think Boris will get it done.... the financial services industry to make an awful lot of mula over the short term as lots of buying and selling....they also have mostly hedged against Brexit in opening offices in Europe.....so the rich will be ok... Proper wo

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/leo-varadkar-customs-deal-on-food-and-farming-could-ease-hard-border-in-ireland-vmf977bbz Wilf, the U.K is leaving the E.U. We joined the E.E.C. in 1973, probably due to the fact Britian was joining and we needed to trade with ye. ye have now decided to leave....this means the benefits ye once enjoyed as members of the E.E.C are over. Ergo there will have to be checks and tariffs on goods entering the E.U now, as ye are not members anymore....and ye don't want a trade deal...ye want a hard Brexit....not good for anyone in the

    Brexit

..it's an interesting article on what might happen with Brexit......and I would say no-one can predict what's going to happen on 31th Oct.... Not even Boris.....and I don't think there's anyone lecturing, Wilf......the debate , from what I see, seems to be.....EU and Ireland are trying to Torpedo Brexit...nowt about what happens after the 31st Oct...... Boris stated before the referendum " There is no plan for no deal because we are going to get a great deal"', I think it's either a general election for the U.K or leave on the 31st.....thoughts?
