  1. I have 7 at the moment No8 is in the planning stage trouble is as soon as one goes up its filled with more junk, garden furniture, tools,pigeons. ferrets, dog,stuff that might come in useful more pigeons, bee keeping gear and more stuff that I might use one day!!
  2. Show still on as of 8.30am Friday Spoke to estate manager and he tells me that depending on what the weather does over the next day a decision will be made around mid day Saturday but he is very hopeful

  4. if the suns out it'd get hot in the van wouldn't it? unless you can park it in shade? depends where you're leaving your van aswell, if it's just at the side of the road and they started barking I'd be worried about someone nicking them. Cooler in a van due to less glass put a roof vent in and sit in the back for a couple of hours in full sun then try the same in a saloon car and you will see the difference

  9. Fresh pigeon muck is great for broad and runner beans I have a 10 yard trench and have been filling it up for the last 3 months it will be back filled in the next couple of weeks ready for early sowing done it for the last 5 years and have had a good steady crop right through the season

  11. Brilliant bit of kit!! Easy to set up sturdy and reliable 2 minute job to switch from gun to gun my only gripe is having to put on the extra illuminator for distances over 120 yards

Plate full of flap jacks, sponge cake ,pack of butter cheese sandwich crisps peanuts large bar of dark chocolate kitchen scraps meant for the chickens eggs out of the chicken coop the list is endless Yesterday I took a large black pudding out of the freezer phone rang put it down and forgot about it went to get it this morning no sign of it along with half a bag of ferret food!!

Astra 1.3 cdti H go for the estate version rather than the van cheaper tax and insurance The 1.3 has the chain driven cam but the egr valve is a pain to take off should it need cleaning sensible driving gives a good return Ive squeezed 700 miles out of a tank full (11 gallons) The van is a lot noisier than the estate mine has acoustic foam which helps, the engine has the Fiat lump in and its nippy in town and ticks along nicely at 70 on the motorway at around 2000rpm Servicing costs are resonable as are parts Ive had mine for 7 months and put 12000 on the clock and had no problems apart fro
  16. 48 Had to pack up playing rugby 3 years ago knackered knee, lower back and serious shoulder injury getting out of bed is a job in its self these days!! Still working out doors 6 days a week in all weathers but still find time to get out with the dog and ferrets although recovery times are a lot longer and the aches and pains never seem to go Only 20 years to go before I can afford to retire
  17. Why not let the dog have the run of the house during the day and put a basket on the landing?? if the pup knows someones in the house he will calm down eventualy how long is he left locked in a crate??
