He said it was due to cutbacks etc..They had made enquiries about taking it away from the local police forces but it was too complex. The only answer was to up the fees ..The £110 is a figure that would stop them losing money processing applications..My local area has to cut back 28 million
FEO just been round because Im due for renewal..Told me the fees are going up to around £110 because current fees dont cover costs .. Glad mines sorted for another 5 years.
Very very few packs will give the terriermen feck all unless you are professional..I know quite a few who only get a bottle of scotch at the end of the season mind you they do get a quad or truck to use on drag days..Still get the blame if anything goes wrong..Im lucky I suppose as when I started I got on really well with the huntsman .He was old school and I did what I wanted when I wanted .He knew what I was up to and I knew what he was doing ..We made a good team..RIP J. Oshea..Too many part time huntsman and Masters about nowadays and most know feck all ..But as said the cream of the jobs
Must be the hunt terrierman when it suits then..I know its Andys dogs and I know they are keepers no one disputes that ..No one is saying the dogs should not have won ..But they did show elsewhere as the terriermen of the West Norfolk .Cannot have it both ways can you ..Not a dig at your show I know how much work goes into running a show.Poor turnout in the terrier ring is probably down to your location to be honest, you are not in a good area for terriers and you are well out in the wilds of Norfolk .Not a good location for the show people.
Know what your saying ,only talking to their terrierman last night. Then they was always a funny lot there, more so when T Ball was hunting them right tosser LOL..Im sure I and A will have a bit of gamebird protection to do LOL
Its a shit job with most packs. Not many decent jobs and those that are decent can pick and choose.7 day week and poor conditions .Quite a few start but soon do a runner.LOL
Them ones need work on the rods that work the treadle, they are both round and the slightest wind will set them off. They need both faces ground flat to be honest ..
If you cannot get your own terriermen in to do the job,try C Hickling he isnt too far away from you and he likes the old terrier judging ..He is on here PM him
