I used to have the original MK1 in .20 caliber too which gave me 260 shots per fill in the 400cc buddy bottle. This was about 10 years ago until some junky burgled my house and removed it That was a lovely gun to shoot. So as you can see I went for a Rapid again as nothing on the market comes close to one. Whether it's shot count or consistency as well as accuracy, and I've owned alsorts of rifles over the past 20 years to compare a Rapid with... All I can say is if you spend the money on a Rapid then it's money well spent and you'll never look back. I've just aquired another Air Arms S41

I can't comment on these but I don't think I would put them in my Theoben, every gun is different however so if you find a pellet that is accurate and works well then why change it.....
-
Firstly my S-TYPE is in the .177 flavour and it never misses a beat. I get 500 shots from a fill in the 500cc buddy bottle @ 250 BAR in this particular buddy bottle. The lamp is a Range Right mini gun lamp made by Clu-Lite with a 400 meter beam, a pop in red filter running at 6 volts with a 15 watt halogen bulb A closer look at the lamp for you guys..

I stated that fact in a thread a few days ago here. I speak to the Theoben engineers frequently and the have told me that Accupells are the dirtiest pellets on the market and are made with a very high mix of steel in the pellets which are not recommended in quality barrels. Air Arms are made of good lead and not mixed with steel which makes them a better pellet in quality barrels, being a softer compound they do very good damage on the intended quarry. By all means use accupels in crappy guns if you wan,t or run the risk of damaging a high quality barrels on more expensive guns if you wis

I like the bipod on it mate it looks a lot better than with out one. I had one of these a while back in .177 cal and it served me very well. I sold it to a good friend and he uses it every weekend on the wabbits and does not let him down. Photos don't do the S200 any justice as they look more impressive in the flesh they can look a bit Marmite you either love them or hate them to look at. Once you see it for real and shoot it then all the Marmite business goes out the window.. All I can say is get out and murder some wabbits with it

I agree about the logun lamp as they are total pants, I went out last night with my mate who has one and he could not see anything beyond 20 yards hence he never shot a thing, whereas I'm using a Cluelite which knocked spots off his lamp in the field. The long and the short of this outcome is my mate is going to buy a new lamp like mine and have done with it. The logun may be useful for ratting in grain sheds but that's it! For rabbits it was totally useless

I fully agree on this LOGUNSOLO177.. In the picture below the first pellet on the left is the Air Arms pellet in .177 cal.

i take it your guns running fac then to take them that distance, because 90 yrds with 12ftlbs your talking brown Speak for yourself why don't you. I do those distances due to the caliber, the quality of rifle and I can shoot straight too, you've obviously never shot a proper air rifle before? If you have then you know at 12ft/lb it is possible but I don't recommend novices to attempt shots like this unless they are confident that the rifle is capable and their shooting skills are up to it.....

They must be able to smell the gun oil

I'm doing 60-70 yards all day long Jazz and on good days this rifle is killing them at 90+ yards All I can say is good British engineering works for me
-
I won't lie but when rabbits are concerned I get the odd runner but with 17 shots in my .177 Rapid I alway manage to put the final shot in to it as I respect the quarry... Even a RAT deserves a clean death
-
Decoys are useful until you have to take them home with a big bag of game. IMO field craft good cover and a healthy shot will still make big bags.. Decoys are ok in shotgun land but not practical for air rifle shooting as you need to keep on the move to get near your quarry (unless you want to get bored sh$tless waiting for something to pop out) As these mindless gaim shows say "the choice is yours"....

Peanut butter works like a charm

not sure about fragile?! covids along with rats can take a lot of punishment and still bugger off to die slowly so go for head neck and if facing away from u spine shots I have a Theoben S-TYPE and as a sharp shooter from the british army I never miss the vital spots on my prey... I rest my case

I have to agree with milo2005 here AA's = Air Arms Field Diablos and then RWS superdomes for everything you shoot whatever distance. Don't get me wrong hollow points are great, but they are only good for short distance. We all know that hunting presents alsorts of senarios ie, you could have a hollow point loaded and when you take aim that bloody thing flies away It may fly to another tree which is out of range for the hollow point pellet. If you have a good domed pellet in the breech you don't care because you've adapted your range and murdered that vermin with ease Accupels

I hate all corvids fullstop so I don't really care where I hit them as they go down just fine. Corvids are quite a fragile birds so hitting them in the body works just fine, my personal favourite when they are twtching their heads is in the neck the result is lights out mr corvid Aaron why would you want to eat these filthy Fuktards??? I'm sure in the old days before excess rubbish and man made crap their diet was ok. But eating something that eats crap sounds disgusting IMO, but if you enjoy them then let us know how it tastes and share your recipe

WOW he could here it at 30 yards When I fire my Theoben using my AWT moderator it can not be heard at all at less than 10 yards all you can hear is a menacing hiss from the pellet and the impact of the rabbits brain box getting served up
-
Too much hassle IMO I would just buy a quality silencer for your gun mate Not to mention that guys video drove me mad with that stupid background music BTW I want my 9 mins and 7 secs back please

Agreed ghillies but I know that milo knows what he's doing with his Rapid .177 in PCP uses more air than .22 to push the pellet out. With my S-TYPE in .177 I get 500 shots from a 500cc bottle whereas in .22 they get 700 shots from the same size bottle... These are S-TYPE statistics because they are fully regulated, on the chrono I'm getting 11.67ft/lb @ 780 fps with Air Arms Field Diablos 8.44 grains. The heaviest pellet I can find in .177 is the JSB Exacts heavies @ 10.4 grains and on the chrono I get 11.96ft/lb - 11.99ft/lb max. I can't find a heavier pellet on the market and I can rest

The best thing to come out of Wales is the bloody M4 motorway

Very nice Milo It just goes to show how a caliber change is so easy on a Rapid...

Keep the good work up young man I hope it tasted good
