iv started to take my young bullx out on lamping trips now and he his going nicely learning and getting better all the time. one thing i am struggling with though is making him come back when the lamp goes out if he has not caught his quarry he seems to want to carry on and have mooch about. if he catches it he is ok. how do you train them to come back when lamp goes out or is it something he will just pick up as he goes out more. all advice will be much appreciated. atb mike

the old fella who takes me out had a mate he used to go lamping with and im sure he said he had that cross taff and he said you never seen a dog like it. it did everything fox, deer and some more . he said he used to make it just look so easy and it wernt bad on rabbits he said. il see if i can get some pics off him him and post them atb mike

iv got a pup dam was a 3/4 grey 1/4 collie and sire was 5/8 3/8. its my first bull cross but it was easy to train and still got lot of agression and drive and its doing the business ok at moment not owning any other bull x though its hard for me to give an opinion. do you think the collie is good to put in them. atb mike

its a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 bull. yeah its my first dog just going to go out see whats about dont know what he will be like he hasn't seen anything yet. so wish me luck mike

good luck with the dog mate, i think its better sometimes if they die outright on injuries like that at least they don't have to go through all the pain and moping about. ATB MIKE
