    Seal-sands was great,we used to sit in the birdwatching hides,my dad bought us a pair of binoculars each one christmas,we used to watch the seals sunning themselves

    You might see plenty of indigenous wildlife on fridays and saturdays,mainly nocturnal,shortly after kicking out time,only went there once,that was enough,if I had spent longer than a week there I would have been on anti-depressants

    River pollack?Normally catch them when fishing for pike with sweetcorn But we did once find a wreck on the tyne upriver just past Hexham,kept motoring round and drift fishing over it as the tide pulled us downstream,dropping 7/0 Hokkais weighted with 3lb weights to reach bottom quickly it was no great shakes to get full-house on river pollack once we got past the cod and ling
