    Might be mate,down by the sheepfolds maybe?Last time I was in Sunderland was a few years back to attend a mates funeral who had lost his job so jumped off the A19 bridge sadly.

  9. Just did 21 km,I will do a few more later,Ottawa is a very green capital city,some decent trails.Found a drain that local raccoon are using to go under the road.

    Weather is warm,dry and it’s around 9.40 minutes,but if I was 17 and my ex-bullfighter dad asked did I fancy shooting machine guns and shore fishing for sharks in Florida his coolness factor would go off the charts.

    Florida,just get flights and an Air BnB,take the kids into MGA (machine guns of America)they will love it,pack fishing kits,cheap’ish and certainly cheerful.

  14. I had been to India and Nepal a few times,always wanted to visit the himalaya in every country they touched,Bhutan was the last and certainly the most interesting,how I imagine Nepal was 60-70 years ago,like stepping back in time.
  15. Yes,India,Nepal,and Bhutan was the final country to complete my list of countries the himalaya are in,my pack was maybe from memory around 7.5-8kg,that was it however in Nepal you could rent everything,I hired a sleeping bag,liner,backpack.

  17. You no raugh out roud then ha? incidentally the lady who had the first ever gender reveal party had a daughter who grew up to be non-specific gender,she no raugh now either.
  18. That’s super-light,that’s the sort of weight I am after,the last time I did a few months in the Himalayas my bag weighed under 10kg,always a minimalist on weight.

    Yup,Sharm is fine for families,quite a sanitised version of egypt,Cairo is a different kettle of fish entirely,total mess.
