I've been thinking (bet you wondered what that funny noise was) i want to make a site on freewebs that deals with ferreting. I imagine it to guide young beginners like me as they start ferreting. plus its something to do over the summer with no ferreting to be done. what would you suggest. thanks connor

maybe he just got excited because wed seen lots of rabbits that morning

has anyone ever seen a dog run in circles around a spot too shift a rabbit lying low in the grass if so why do they do it as opposed to sneaking up on it unfortunately when my dog done it this morning he hit a brick in the ground and lost the rabbit.

hes a 11 month old colliexwippetxgreyhound i dont take him lamping but i just run him in the day and he will be a ferreting dog in the winter what is a gaze or a sighthound he hasnt done much

now dont piss about because i take what you say as law i was out this morning (just got in) and i'm worried about my dog. hes trailing rabbits he should be picking up easily. we were walking on a path and there were rabbits running across to the fence on the other side and a young rabbit lifted right beside him he chased it but he couldnt get to it in time the gap whent from a few feet to a couple of metres and the rabbit was safe before he could lunge for it. also he isnt seeing the rabbits to we are right on top of them he should be able to see the rabbits i can see have i been sold

theres a ferret locator mark 1 8ft deben on ebay and two collares both seperate all £0.99 with £5.00 p&p bidding not even started is it worth a go for a first locator
