I don't think it will matter. the litter could be as small as 8 and as big as 13. Somebody could prove me wrong. If its her first litter she could kill some.

Hi lads&lasses Come to ask for some advice I'm going to a couple of farms at the village down the road this saturday and wan't some advice on how to deal with landowners politely.

All the joins of my hutch are on the inside and because hay is very compact and gets pushed away very easily because off all the tunneling the little fellas do. The shit ends between the joins hence lots off scrubbing and hosing.

What do you use for bedding. What is the most absorbant and whats really crap. I've used sawdust which is clean looking and fresh but seems to not absorb the piss as well, paper which blows everywhere in a wind, and hay which is good for bedding but is shite for litter material as the shit ends up up the wall. Hay is however compacted together wich makes it easy to remove. Look forward to hearing your views as all that seems to be on here at the moment is arguing and someone trying to sell you something in bad conditions cough FK cough.

I think he's fibbing.A tooth abcess has to be lanced and a course of antibiotics given. Maybe he wasn't aware that when he said removed we would think he was bullshitting, he could mean removed as in lanced and put on antibiotics. Strenthening a tooth?????. Why doesn't someone phone a vet, didn't somebody say they phoned one near him.

i put a little white spirit on the tick and pull the tick off. make sure you get right to the base of the tick incase you leave the head on. hope it works

Every time i say something i get shot in the f****n back :realmad: . What i meant to say is Ferrets don't HAVE to be kept in pairs. I would rather have two ferrets together. I was just trying to help keep the the lads options open. ps I am going to the bottom of the garden to eat worms.

Ive got 5 jills and they are all pregnant. Does that make me a bad person because i will have alot of kits? I think not because all my ferrets are kept clean and healthy and they are given a large area to run and exercise in with plenty of tubes and logs etc to climb and explore. Please do not tar everyone with the same brush because of a bad experience!! OK MATE MY BAD

ferrets dont need to be kept in pairs. of course two ferrets are better than one when it comes to ferreting but as to keeping two in a pair in the same hutch or cage. i find it well easier to exercise a single ferret and i only started off with the one. get one then get another later on in the summer. theres plenty of time for new kits to be born. i wouldnt buy kits off people who breed a lot of ferrets. i bought a ferret of a farmer who had a litter of 13 and she wanted £30 for a jill just because she was silver. i finally got her down to £15. the ferret was covered in ticks and had dried s
