It was my and my dogs first night lamping lastnight, , started lamping a field, nothing about, so i starts to walk to the next field, when i hear shouting, and dogs barking, i thinks no wonder there aren't any rabbits about, there spooking them, so i starts to lamp the next field and finally i see one, about 30 yards away on the edge of some woods, so i starts stalking up to it then it buggers off. then a few lads and a young girl or boy come out with a pack of terriers and a lurcher (bull coss i think), ty pulling on the lead to say hello to the pack, and one of the lads say, he's a big stron

I am getting a lamp this friday, hopefully get out for a shine over the weekend, got any pointers for me as it is my and my dogs first night on the lamp.

yeah, i was told one got moved down from yorkshire to knutsford, checked the tatton park site and its not there, so it must be somewhere else in knutsford

hiya mate, i do most of my ferreting by the mersey and have mooched on most of the marshes, runcorn and widnes are your best point of access mate, the marshes are full of canadian geese and theres a few duck there. But i am not sure about shooting there, there is a farm in hale village with marshland at the back canadian geese flock there maybe you cuold ask them for permission.

Just this week the butcher gave me a bag off faty offcuts for about a quid, it was originally for the ferrets but the dog loves it and after feeding it for a few day he looks great, my question is is this alright to feed on its own or should i add something to it. thanks.

yeah he's had about 7 rabbits over the last 4 weeks and is turning out to be a class ferreting dog.

sure why not eradicate rats and fox as well and then we will all take up nitting and model making and lurchers and terriers will turn into show dogs and forget about hunting
