i personally dont , once its bled , the shooting lads tell you its better shot no stress etc etc but i think its only to put you off hunting them cattle , pigs are beatin on & off trucks goin to slaughter & they taste fine.

the way we use to do it was with bushing dogs , slow dogs that wouldnt put to much pressure on them , fallow mostly in patchs of forestery they wouldnt panic just go around in circles good viewing & tounge wouldnt catch much , the few we caught would usually do something stupid as they do .

just out of intrest how high were your teckels , i hunt a few about 10 in plus no bother except on very steep gullys, flyers in forestery & bog.

thats a real pity it was getting better every year , now having had the experince of dealing with a commitee at the lisgoold show who panicked after a few complaints when R Booth was to judge the terriers .Would a letter in the avonduh by a well known anti shortly after last years show cause the commitee to take this stance ,if so its a shame , i have not heard a thing from anyone its just me being a suspicous f**ker ?

my own view on why there,s more hares on courseing grounds is the clubs pays money for them & the b****rds take them off the land i hunt, it really pisses me off & then sell them back to lads to restock there areas

lads you just cant compare hounds to terriers the teckel is a hound i hunt a few there good for beating cover you can dig to them no bother but if quarry wants to go it goes , if you want a dog to beat cover & get a handy dig there the job but if you want to join the elite get a ******** terrier

have to agree a lot more people hunting now some farmers getting really pissed off with people on the land most days was asked to stay off land by two farmers in the past few weeks cause they had enough ,so it must be countrywide,told them they would never see me on there land again so will just have to park somewhere else or get dropped off cant change the habits of a lifetime.

this might help to get them closer dont do photography but use to call long eared & barn owls in just for a look on the dusk with a mouse squeek , i knew where they were used to go down & stand under a tree ,squeek away & they always came in for a look .stunning shots .
