  4. Its been wild pianoman and the rain has never really held off much i had found a well sheltered spot to rezero not bad little gun for 45 pound (i slung the ox spring out fitted a standard and relubed) and also retapped the front end screws as the ox had smashed them why people fit them oxs i dont know.Hope it didnt spoil your day to much.
  5. Well it rained all day up until 3 oclock so i headed out to re zero the old vulcan.I changed back to superdomes after running out of falcons. After a few shots at 25 yards i soon had them grouping in the 10 mm circle.I had to remove the mod as i found the pellets clipping it when i started, dont know why but i will try and look at things when i get time.Moving off i bagged these at thirty yards within mins of each other.I held out for awhile and headed to the wood to try and bag some woodys mr darcy style. Not a thing about i am struggling in finding good roosts never mind slow cooker for thes
  6. Did the gold trigger take much fitting ,my mate has a old 77 which has a small piece broken off and needs a bit of tlc.Bagged loads with my old 77k there great guns that just last forever.I may even offer to buy my mates as a project job as i would love another.(have you seen the air gunner mag this month theres a neat diy comb raising feature) kit costs £20 do a restain of your choice maybe cheaper way of getting a custom stock with the great feeling of knowing you done it yourself

  11. Had an hour out just back in i did get one at about twenty yards with the ir on number 3 setting. Its not what i went for but never mind then the fog set in near the river, anyhow if you get it right its amazing just how clear you can see into the trees.I will be back for the woodies on a better night.
  12. Had many good ones which are now long gone hw 77 35 bsa gamos webleys, really wish i had kept my hw35 as it really taught me how to shoot.Bagged loads with the open sights till i got scopes old nikko 4x40 golds.Only paid £70 for it second hand just for fun and to take you back which ones do you wish you had kept.I am even using a vulcan at the mo which i got for £45 its fine out to forty yards with falcon pellets.
  13. Cheers j darcy just been back to the wood ive got in mind and made a mental note of a few areas that were littered with droppings.Going to get up there when theres abit cloud.(tonight i hope)! Its a mix of silver birch and a few big oaks.
  14. It will deal with vermin but just keep it real by finding a distance you get good groups there not top end i know but could be used ok to yours and its performance
