Thats a truely silly myth However it obviously has been very good luck for the black bunnies I bet it was started by the person who was the 1st to see a black one in the area and was hoping to let it breed so there would be more of them I spent 4 hours last night in the only part of the paddock where I know that Bubba & Bessy come out to play (and the only part where the grass is short enough to let me shoot from the pod!). Neither of them showed up to play But not to worry I'll get them both, just like I got that tearaway Linford! This time I will be able to recover th

Shame your not within walking / cycling distance (well not in this weather anyway's) I've got a few rifles and we could have had a wander around to keep the farmer happy If I had a car I would have driven down to you with the rifles. How did you get on with the place in the city centre? or do we already know Phantom

Gary, The 100 stock looks wonderful Just need to do the S200 action, throw away the old S200 bra and pants and slip her nicly into that racy little all in one Well done Phantom PS can ya send Darryl a text and let him know I'm not being ignorant; I've run out of credit and if he's still in the area with a bit of time on his hands, kettle takes two minutes to boil

Dont think we've ever had a disagreement But would you really use an FAC air rifle in a building? Heck, I'd be reluctant to use anything over 6ft/lbs inside the confines of a building (although have used an 11ft/lbs in a pig pen building). Phantom

@ Riffraff Thought you'd given up on the idea of getting an RFD ticket? @ Matt I only put the gun in that because it saved me carrying a gunslip as well (and of course the funny looks that BL mentioned lol) I was unaware you had to contact the train company anymore since they privaised it all? I had a few funny looks from some of the passengers on the train when I brought my Rifle back from Leeds a year or two back, no one complained and none of the staff or transport police said anything about it . Trust me when I say on Leeds Station there are plenty of both staff AND Police

I' agree Bill. The parts are easily obtainable and the Job is reletively straight forward to do Both Dillan and I are close enough to help out and if I needed help, then RiffRaff is only a phone call away I'm also sure that if any parts were "Hard to find" or to be delivered to an RFD only for a Face to Face sale, then both Riff and I have one VERY close at hand especially on a thursday evening Phantom ps you seen my baby with her new curves yet?

My pleasure guy's, You won't get stick from people in this section, we are all very proud to be called "The Boy Scouts" of THL We do give stick, but only in a friendly way, and the odd one that does try to give out crap, we generally get shut of quick sharp What many people forget, is 'we were all new at one time or another', I have learn't a heck of a lot from the people on here, as have every one of the regulars and we all have three things in common, our love of airgunning and our liking to pass on our knowledge and our passion for encouraging others into airgunning, be it pa

A large fat ZERO But its not all about the killin' is it  I gave the ferrets the last full frozen bunny today having let it defrost in the fridge. Decided to put it on a try in the outhouse so I could film em tucking in What did the little monsters do? Had a sniff, turned away and went and sat with the cat ate the cats food Once I had butcherd it into sections, they went mental for it So much so that the little sods climbed up onto the white sofa in there and I now have red ferret foot prints all over it Wife's turn to go mental when she sees the prints :la

Bill, Technically they aint endangered (yet), but they are on some red list or other Apparently for every one you see today there were 4 at the start of the 1900's but according to the people that came out with those statistics, there never was nor is there a way of determining how many are or were shot each year; nor is there a figure stating how many there are left in the UK, one estimate is there are 4 million breading pairs; so I'll leave yaw'l to figure out how they come up with those statistics cus I aint got a fecking clue while we are on the subject of recomendations, E
