  3. season has started a bit early for me, thursday night i kept looking out, the conditions were near perfect the moon was well hidden by the clouds and the wind and rain were blowing i couldnt sit in ,so took the pup out near were i live she ran around 7 rabbits altogether,theres not many about now due to myxie. She had some good runs,she managed 3 which i was pleased with the last one i thought she had lost , it got in to cover which she went in to and came out with it in her mouth heres a few piccs of her and her catch. hope you all have a good season LOFTI.
  4. not this place we have been going for months and its crawling with them. this farmer is well and truly peed off with them. hences us going early than we would like. myxie is just starting to show but if we get rid oif them now then hopfully it wont take hold and we can enjiy the true ferreting season as well.   6. you did well and the piccs are brilliant,best ive seen on here for a while:thumbs: had a look up that way last week and was supirised with the lack of rabbits in some areas that are normally crawling with them, myxy and the bad winter has definatly took its tole on the bunnies up in the dales.
  7. rabbits are very hard for a lurcher to catch in woods,and your dog knows it mate,its just pure fustration.

  13. its very good mate,as it is flexable and breatheable, alot of lads use it. only thing is that it comes loose after a while when it gets wet.

  17. so you wouldnt expect a lab to be fully stock broke by 12 months??? mine are round stock from day one to learn the difference of right and wrong and what to hunt or not its basic stockmanship rfyl ive got no sympathy for you i just feel sorry for the dog that you failed to train properly and died as YOU f****d UP I wouldn't expect any dog to be full trained by 12 months....i dont start any serious training till 9 months.   21. for one of mine its a must and i clip them every 2 /3 weeks as they grow like fook the other twos claws always seem to be ok from just road walking. didrent dogs need diffrent atention:thumbs:.
