Sean, due to their large numbers, urban foxes are carriers of mange, amongst other things. I shifted a couple recently out of a mates back garden. There was fox shit all over the place, food debris, stench and damage to his boundaries and garden and with his two little kids wanting to play on the lawn etc, it was obvious that they'd have to go...and go they did! been through a few dogs mate eh!. The only way bull x's will come anywhere near being good all round lurchers is by adding more greyhound blood which appears to be getting away from what most of the bull guys are arguing about ie jaw power, tenacity courage and by diluting the blood further your surely coming away from these traits...Interesting tho that a lot of the bull x;s have collie blood through them as well...bigredbufoon wouldn.t like that

the difference is a bullx has a hard bite ( as in the breeding) a collie also does not have a bite as hard as a bull , now you are going to come back with a crap comment like 'well let my dog bite you and you tell me it's not hard' which is the sort of comment i would expect . face it , if you dont want to handle fox get a bull'x , BUT i do believe the collie MAY have a higher catch rate but will never take as much gip. Right lets knock this on the head been in this game man and boy for nearly 40yr now so I aint no snotty nosed kid who comes in and rattles his gums for the sake of it. The folk I knock around with have tried every conceivable lurcher x including bull x's and some of my mates have the very x you've got. So I have seen this x in action many many times and I've yet to see a kill in the time you guys are on about. I can see from your pics that your dog knows the score and he looks a good dog. My younger brother Daz would tend to agree with you there! He was walking home one night pissed with a kebab. He cut across the school field and come across charlie scavenging around in the bins. So he decides it would be a good idea to give it small bits of kebab. He was doing this for about 10 minutes, and the fox got brave and came within hands reach. Best thing to do if you aint got anything to hide is let them in to see the dogs. I've been reported 2 times this year once for my dogs being to thin and skinny and being bundled into the back of my truck. The last time was when I was on holiday and we had left a friend to watch our two cats. The dogs were at my mates thank god. pre ban ive seen some bull crosses finish things off in 4 or 5 secs what ever you hunt it deserves as humane an end as possible Sorry just cant see it! get a stop watch and see how quick 5 secs really is...or 10 secs for that matter.
