    Snares are designed to hold not strangle....snares are reusable....if you know how to set they can be set very quick..... the snares used today with breakaway,deer stops etc allow non target species to get out of snare....?

    Snares are very effective on rats and squirrels,why carry a lot of traps about when a handful of snares will do the job just as well.?
