    Poaty or putty.....is quite simply salmon roe very effective.....fished on the river bed, there are lots of modern baits and lures available that are equally effective , and should be persude over poaty in this day and age.

    Yes , it shoots well, out to about 9 1/2 yards....lol ,bore is excellent , in fact , apart from a couple of blemishes on the stock its in good nick all round......pretty good condidering its 100 years old.

    Just picked up a 9mm shotgun , very old with a warnant action , possibly a converted rook gun. Anyone else seen or have one ???

    Forget camo..........feildcraft is the key , aslong as your'e wearing dull , natural colours your feildcraft is far more important imo
