We're discussing the traits of 2 dogs & what you get when they are put together I'm after knowledge from experience hunters cause as you no nothing beats experience But I think there would be a big diffrence in the quality of the bull x if both sides of the breeding was stable and well bred. The reason I asked this is that if you look at the 2 breeds involved Greyhound ( track well bred ) APBT game bred when I say that I mean that a proper dog that you no the blood and history of not some petbull that got bred to a similar dog And you don't no passed the parents ! They both have laid back attitudes they both have near perfect conformation to do the job in hand There loyal good with kids and both breeds arnt classed as guard dogs althow some APBT are very good at that But most of all they both have amazing prey drives and tenacity and that's what I think you w

Isn't a pig dog a catch dog that holds the pig till its dispatched I carnt see how any one would take the chance with a wild boar with one dog What's the best American Bull Dogs ? Pit xs I'd think a 75 lb to 95 lb dog can hold one of them till it's dispatched I think that's the diffrence with American bull dogs they hold the pig and don't try and fight it' you wouldn't want a dog letting go while your in range of them tusks & teeth

I no it depends on the dog' that's common sence What I'm saying is would you agree that even the fittest dogs need a rest and 3- 4 nights is enough to deserve a rest. We have to think for the dogs and be wise with what's best for them If a greyhound broke its leg and you dangled a rabbit in front of it ? I was wondering what the hunters the proper lads on here with hands on experience think about how much recovery a dog needs after a hard nights graft. Treadmills are brilliant for fitness & what is fitness ? RECOVERY' fitness is Judjed by how fast you or your dog recovers from the run or if you were a boxer the pads the bag the short sprint or for the DOG its the chase ! For explosive power you need to be fit to keep dishing them hard runs out Treadmills condition the muscle for endurance and any one who fights or traines hard knows that your muscle has memory and so dose a dogs. Years ago I sat with a very well known dog man at the time he's passed now but he said this " Put a proper bull to anything and it will improve the breed it's put to I totally agree with that but I beleave the same with greyhounds it boils down to the genetics that make a running dog a running dog and a pit dog a pit dog there all special in there own wright and have years of best to best breeding and good genetics behind them' my point is in my opinion it dosent come much better than a 1st x bull grey Two awsome athletes put together it makes sence and wether u think there lurchers or n
