  2. For the sake of a bump, here's another photo of the sire:
  3. I think i know this bloke with the beddys, i'll dig a photo out and try and get it on, possibly of claude, which was the father to my dog. This guy bred beddys from a line kept through his family, he used to give a print out of the pedigree with the dogs and also bred beddy x lagunas. I can remember where he lives but cant remember his name, last i heard his back went and was jacking in dogging. I will try and track him down ! Interesting! anyone know a bedlington called claude? thanks for that mate.
  4. I bought a lurcher off a bloke from St Helens area about 8yrs ago that had 2 working Westies, i didn't see them work but did actually see the dogs. They had heads like the show stuff but had leaner more athletic bodies. He used them mainly for ratting ! With it all coming on top for the Kennel Club with the inbreeding etc, the future might lie in resurrecting some old terrier breeds, with some out crossing! I've heard Pedigree Chum and the RSPCA have pulled the plug on Crufts after the revelations about the inbreeding on the BBC documentary????
  5. another of my bitch at about 5 weeks.
  6. my bitch at same age, unusual brown lip !!
  7. Maybe you could tell me something about the line of the father, which i would be very interested in since i have a bitch pup from him. what was the dog called mate.? soxs i should think.......
  8. You would have to give my mate a bell for the ins and outs of the lines. cheers
  9. manchester area. Another photo of Sire (very powerful dog):
  10. i'm not after an argument BUT: Why put a photo like this on the internet for the anti brigade to collect and build up a massive dossier of evidence of injured dogs to completely ban terrier work ? I just dont get it ? its complete madness !
  11. Cheetahs have inbreeding problems BIG TIME ! Ruby it does reinforces the type you want but with mother and son or brother and sister they turn out shitedont animals in the wild interbreed then, they dont seem to have any problems!?....like afican hunting dogs, lions ,tigers etc etc
  12. if you inbreed or line breed for too many generations you will end up with a genetic bottle neck, which is what has happened with some of the show dogs, mainly caused by certain popular stud dogs dominating the gene pool. in America the black toy poodle has an inbreeding coefficiency of 22.5%, a brother to sister mating produces young with a 25% coefficient. That means ALL black pedigree Toy poodles in America are almost brothers and sisters. An inbreeding coefficient of 12.5% is considered to be the maximum safe ammount of inbreeding, which is half brother x half sister or father
  13. it is common with Gyrs and gyr x sakers
  14. "RES IPSA LOQUITUR" is a legal term used in cases of obvious negligence ????
  15. I would like to say that this thread is limited to the issue of whether or not I sold Neil Hunter a cable tied bird. The issues of my guilt or innocence will be dealt with once I have been given permission to use various people’s evidence in the manner that we as a joint entity want. Trust me or not the evidence will leave any right minded person in no doubt of my innocence’s and that of other peoples as well. The matter is so serious that it must be done right and that does not include reacting to some childish bullies trying to mentally drive me down WITH REMARKS THAT HAVE NO BASIS IN

  17. Derek would you not be better spending your time tracking down the thief who took your parent birds, Surely this man is most to blame for your short inconveniance in prison. I wonder why he just stole the parents and not the youngsters ? Steve
  18. " He claimed the parent birds had been stolen by a rival breeder. Seventeen months later he produced two parents, but the court was told that these were also taken from the wild. " Derek, who was the rival breeder who conveniently stole your parent birds ?
