  5. im saying that on this site there seems to be a lot more crosses going on than the other sites i frequent on the american pages is all. Not saying I'm right and conceding that Im wrong, just how it seems is all. I've been on some sites talking about the different dogs being bred and discussed on this page and have been told that they're mutts, which by the way I totally disagree. love all the different crosses people are making for different work they are encountering.

  15. Hello, I've fairly recently rescued a lakeland bitch and would really like to learn how to hunt with her, you know all the ins and outs the rights and wrongs of it. I'm living in southeast michigan and there are plenty of farms about, I'm just having the worst luck trying to find anyone to take a chance taking me out to learn. I'm getting quite frustrated by all this but at the same time I can understand peoples avoidance of an outsider. Any and all advice is appreciated.
  16. Well theres no shame at being to something now is there? Ive rescued a lakie and she had been clipped almost to the point of being naked. Well winter here in Michigan is quite cold so I let her coat grow out and now ive this moppish looking soft haired fuzz ball. Do I go and have her clipped or do i get her proper stripped and if ive the time is it something that is easy to pick up and do? any and all advise appreciated

I've got to run into some people who are going to show me the ropes take me out a couple times you know? The problem is being a newby nobody knows who you are and won't set up a day with me. I'm in southeast MIchigan Canada border and if anyone reading this can tolerate a tag along I'm all for it. Really hoping to hear from someone soon. I've been trying since xmas to line things up with different people. I k
