  1. that my friend is a staff,,, lol sorry the black and white dog,
  2. The top dog could be a reverse breed bull greyhound (3/4 Greyhound ¼ bull terrier). However i would say it’s more likely to be pit x staff x mastiff mix, Whichever it could do with more muscle mass and tone, The second dog i strongly suggest is a bull terrier which could be of American decent. Cracking head,, but show me 5 pits and i will show you 5 arguments with respect to origin or breed! http://www.workingpitbull.com/amstaffpit.htm
  3. You just reminded me of when I worked on a farm and went to pull an electric fence up. I bent down and lost balance & grabbed hold of the fence and battery box lol what a kick it give funiest thing i have seen, my good friend was going under an electric fence, when he got zapped in the head,,, you should have seen the spark.
  4. i have a 3/4 gh 1/4 dh and he was well up with the fastest dogs i have seen. even beating some racing dogs at the shows. he also has very high prey drive, you could say he is jst a rough coated GH, he is 29" all the best rob,
  5. good work, glad to see you managed to find an upto date pic for your profile,,,,
  6. if you go for the manual disco 1, 300tdi you can complete a few simple mods to take it to over 30 mpg on a run. remove the EGR, kit is aprox £15 remove the cat from the down pipe £25 tune the fuel pump, better pick up so over all better mpg. free but can be tricky to follow the instruction the first time. the best thing with a disco is the parts are easy to get and very cheap, nearly all work can be completed at home with the help of the manual, then if you want to modifiy it over time the sky is the limit! there is a spot on disco for sale in the clasifieds, there are also loads o
  7. So far i have had AA S410, S410 carbide, BSA ultra which i took in part ex against the AA, but this was nowhere near the same quality so i sold it. Then i got a HW100 sport from a guy on here, what a gun, it got me out and shooting once more! Even thinking of getting a .22 to go with the .177. they are well made and easy to use, would like to get it tuned at some point so it is optimized on the legal limit. all the best, rob
  8. they are cheap and you can do loads to them, and a whole lot better on the road than a defender! cheers rob
  9. not sure if its me, just tied the H&N FTT and noticed a couple of things, 1,the pellet quality was not that good at least 25% were damaged? 2, they do not seem to have the same kill rate as the old pellets i was using when shooting squirrels going to try the daystate next. cheers, sorry forgot to say currently using lazadome, webley venom.
  10. 3 dr is better as remove the rear seats and you have the same as the comercial discover van land rover made, easy to put a flat load area straight through. Are you sure you would lamp for the rear window of a Disco,, 1, they never work, 2, if they do work they a fecking small, 3 its a long way down, Then if you can get the dog down and the dog out safely they wil have a tough old job to get back in!!! but i can see your point. 3 dr are also better if you want to increase the size of the wheel as its easy to cut the rear arches out, and you do not need to messabout with the rear door
  11. getting stuck is part of the fun!
  12. good price! @ only 95k you are getting the extras for free! the 3 door is better bet for a dog bus!
  13. yes, they are bigger diameter than than the 235 (i think they are around 28"), and they are on 15" rims not 16" so you could not sawp the tyres. in short you would lose some ground clearance.
  14. yes mate they will go straight on, they are 235/70/16" nuts included! typicaly with a defender you could go to 265/75/16" but they are a fair few quid, i would fit the spacers as well as this improves the vehicle stablity but increasing the track. cheers rob
  15. For sale britpart land rover 30mm steel wheel spacers with nuts these cost £200 and are 2 months old. these will fit a disco 1, defender and clasic range rover. http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-RD1069BP location, essex price, £100 ono
  16. Cheers Darryl, I was looking to try and take the gun to the shop directly, Typically to “blue print” a car engine or any other mechanical device would mean to strip and optimise the standard level of performance.
  17. Hi, Can anyone recommend me good gunsmith in Essex to blueprint my HW100 sport. I have also read that it can be converted legally to adjustable power, so you can ensure you are within the law for all pellets? Regards Rob,
  18. Quick one for you, what would a 3/4 gh 1/4 dh put to a wheaten bitch turn out like? For ref the dh x is 30" to the shoulder and has straight line speed and drive, the sire to the wheaten bitch worked and she will get out and about. will not be happening for a good few years so no requests for pups!! ha ha
  19. just watched it,, what a joke!! 4 fu_king big pick ups, 4 people, guns, dogs and an energy drink to catch a bunch of baby pigs!! oh yes we got a big hog!!! the "hog" was not as big as any of the 6 dogs on it! but the jugs were great!!! i will be watching again! the real sad viewing was "dogs on death row" BBC one last night, I makes me sad the conditions some people can keep animals in!!
  20. hello mate, staff's are a real pain for seperation anxiety, you may not cure the anxiety but a back collar will help with the noise. You can get either the spray or the shock. once they know whats coming you can switch to the bleep only. all the best rob
  21. "was suprising would be an understatement,4 year old bitch bouncing like a puppy,a good bloke that done me a right favour " she will always be my puppy!! ha ha,, he did and i know i could have asked sooner,,, I still feel like a fool,, lol
  22. Took my bitch to a "bone man" essex area last week, got 10 maybe 12 click and cracks out of her. Funny thing was she is normaly very shy and not keen on beeing handled, yet she just let it all go on. After just a day she was belting around the garden like a puppy, took her out tonight,,, she was like a diffrent dog! (she still needs to be fitter,, but thats my fault) she will be be booked in regulaly and i feel a bit of a "fool" for not doing it sooner!
