    Sounds like a better place M and at least theres some big fish in there too. All I get surounded by is cows when I'm fishing or the farmers dog nicking my meat On another venue the owners Rottie will come and sit by you all day waiting for a few chunks of meat.

    I'd find somewere else if I were you. Theres usually a few lakes about if you go looking. There's one by were I course fish that has some nice carp in and the fella hardly ever comes for the money. I would be up there most nights but the fish arn't interested in anything. Probably as hardly anyone knows about it or goes there. I was thinking of trying a fly one night. Should have some fun If I hook in to one

    How much And I think a tenner for 2 rods is absolute tops! I usually pay about a fiver for 2 rods and even then I'll get the pole out when It's quiet.

    You did tell me M about that fella There was a lake up here I was looking at that said all bait had to be bought from them. It looked quite smart but I'm not entertaining them with rules like that! I picked up a pamflet on another place up here and it says no tiger nuts and some other nuts. That I can understand incase some mupet goes and kills a fish with nuts that arnt prepared correctly, but having to buy there bait! This place I had the leaflet for said they were stocked to capacity with trout too Don't worry about blanking JM just aslong as your enjoying it, and with them rules I do

    Bargain. Was that brand new? My dinghy alone cost more than that and It's bright orange Looks like It will be just my hands for now then! Still saves carrying anymore Kit. I was looking at another pump - 25 quid. It was that one I was telling you about that does an air bed in under 2 mins but I'm looking for a S/H one, It's abit too pricey for me and I don't know what the noise is like from it. I've got a foot pump in my bag now and that takes a while to do and is still surprisingly noisy Have you checked how much weight it can carry Joe

    I remember a thread about this on BBS when it came out. I think the general consensus was that it wouldn't have the power for clean kills on shots greater than 10yds. Seems a good idea but I think I'd go for a shotty.

    I use the lowa combat GTX and they seem allright so far. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lowa-Combat-Boot-GTX...p3286.m14.l1318 I have been using them with some waterproof gaiters and they are doing better than my mouflon plus's I had previous. Still these are looking cracked and scuffed so I'm not expecting these to last a long time either. I got some cheap wellies the other week - beats paying 140+ every year or so for a new pair of boots even if they only last me 6 month I can get 14+ pairs for the same as 1 pair of boots. Just a shame they aren't as comfy and you can't dig in them.

    Don't think my mate fancies it now M so I'm left carrying all the rods on my own I don't go into town much but will need to soon once I have sorted something out so may as well kill 2 fish with 1 piece of corn I'm still debating my tactics.. I'll keep a look out for Joe's pics.

    Thanks lads. I'm further towards the east from you Ben.. The lamps were mixed. The first part was a laserlite and I was filming then later on I was lamping with my nitestalker and a mate was filming hence it was so far away compared to the begining and my other vid. The camera is a sony HC14E if you were interested in that. I was using niteshot and sports mode if i remember correctly.

    I know exactly what you mean mate - Joe only having an hour to spare They had or have a white deer on an estate I have perm on. I've seen it a couple of times as it was with the herd. I wish I had a few deer to photograph sometimes but all I get is the humble coney.
