    my old dogs a 3/4 saluki/ghd she s 8 now but i always used her with terriers,caught a few foxes with her when out bushing ,stuggled on the bunnies tho ,short quick runs.all the best BB .IN HER PRIME IN THIS PIC

    COULD NOT AGREE MORE i would nt get a beddy/whippet mate otherwise all your dogs will be in the bush with none waiting for the bolt ,let ya terriers do the bush work and use whippet or whippet/ghd for whatever comes out.it s worked for me. you can t beat terriers for bushing, train your saluki/ghd to work with them.a beddy/wip will bush well but while he s in there you still need a dog on the outside .BB

    had a phone call tonight a mate had squirrells in his loft and garden ,took my gun and dog whippet x saluki/ghd for some experience .one squirrell was in the tree when i got there i took aim and shot him he came down and the dog was straight on him shaking him madly,not bad i thought big male too.she s had a rat before but these are evil. went into the loft with my gun ,no dog lol,shon my torch round and i saw another took aim ,another kill result ,mate happy, job done ,here a couple of pics all th best BB

    hi all my 8 yr old saluki/ghd has gone down hill fast,it started when i came back of my hols in june, my girlfriends mum had been lead walking her for 2 weeks because she cant be trusted around the farm cats when we got back i took them out for some free running my bitch had put on a lot of weight due to the lead walking and muscle waste. i commented she is running like a donkey at the time i thought it could be due to the extra weight so i cut down her food and exercised her more and she developed a limp in her front right leg. over a 6 week perid, the condition worsened i cant pin point the

    that depends on what you decide to use ,non ped or ped ,both are bred for speed but the non peds are faster the choice is yours .there are alot of good racing studs out there .if you pm me i can give you a contact top non ped racing champion mansfield way. .....how can you say the non ped whippets are faster ? .......ive had both ped and non ped also work along side both . you get good ones from both and bad ones from both but non ped usually have grey in them a few generations back to keep the size up . ive had a 17 inch bitch that was fast as feck and takle anything full ped and faster

    hi mate i have two mates who are living in lethbridge they would give you tips on what dog to go for, they know the local land,what quarry is there .they have been out with me alot with my dogs. it depends what you want to hunt but a whippet,is good for small game hare s rabbits ,but be wary of the coyotes ,a much bigger dog is needed.his name is TRAPPA hes on this site but if you want to call him pm me i will give you his number all the best BB ps you can t run a dog on frozen ground it will bust up there feet hey barnsly ben , I have recently moved to Lethbridge from the UK with a beardi

    great little dogs heres my 3/4 saluki ghd x bwra racingwhippet ,a have you been to a non ped raceday ? nothing quicker mate if you are after more speed this is the way to go ,not all whippets are that fast

    it is ileagal to lamp in alberta mate,i would go for a small dog proberly whippet x terrier,something that does nt look racy and draw too much attention.i did nt know they had banned hunting with dogs there my mates are going out with a lad soon who still dogs coyotes i would never break the law tho that would be naughty

    abit of saluki is good, but in alberta the temp can drop to -45 the ground is like concrete ,gets very hot in the summer too not suitible for any running dog , it is mainly flat praries big field s ,but their hare canot be compared with ours ,not sure if canadians have alot of choice with lurchers as not many do the small stuff all the best BB ,

    Good man my ex used to say i thought more of the dogs than of her, she was right i did so she left me for another bloke a month after she left i met a farmers daughter who love s dogs comes shooting, ferreting,not to keen on ratting tho thinks coursing is the best pre ban.i live with her now on a 600 acre farm of which i have full permission.talk about falling in a bucket of shit,and come up smelling of roses all th best to ya mate good luck BB here she is with a shot ,retrieved hare which i shot and the misses and dog retrieved she's a fecking beauty also mate, you'v definatley came ou
