  1. I have been thinking of indulging myself and getting an old landy, preferably one someone has given a bit of TLC to. I want to know how reliable they are as I wont drive it much in the week but just to have some fun in at week ends.I dont think it would be off roaded much either, just green laning. I don't want to get into Landy's V's others as its been done here already, but as a change from my company car I know it would make me smile ,as long as it wasn't up on a ramp all the time
  2. Forrest Gump, that was some life story!!!!!!!!!!!11
  3. good luck, let us know what happens.I've applied for my cert and still waiting for a visit.
  4. when you sit and watch how smart animals are at surviving and how amazing and beautiful nature is despite the crap that man does to it.I don't belive anyone can in their right mind say its evolution. As for man, well as Ghandi noted ,if man even lived by the principles that Jesus said in the Bible we would not be in this mess.Mans selfishness and inhumanity is a simbol of their taking the easy route and excersising free will. Thats my view.

    Cider

Thanks to all who gave me some ideas where to stop for cider, especially to Levs with his Ciderbrandy tip.Turned out to be the place I'd seen on Rick Steins food heroes. The Cider was great and they do a bottle fermented cider like Champagne, its great and perfect for drinking to celebrate the England Rugby win last w/end.I have another saved for the the England v France clash. It will be chilled and ready for a celebration even the caveman Chabal can't ruin...

Lamb curry cooked slow,For some wierd reason I love the smell of KFC,but wont eat it English Leather, that smell after a thunderstorm and best of all babies freshly bathed and dusted in Jonsons baby powder

  14. Hi all, theres a guy on e bay selling Gun Cabinets based in Redbourn Herts. under the name GDK Trading.I am interested in buying one but the add doesn't say "Police approved" and I have asked him 3 times if they are police approved and he wont reply.I suppose I am answering my own question and should take it that the lack of response is answer enough.Has anyone bought one or knows of the company? As a first time applicant for a shotgun licence I dont want to make any mistakes so advice is always welcome cheers Bagpuss

I put the rabbit in a bag with some Pattaks tandoori paste, some natural yoghurt and some lemon juice.Gave it a good mix and left it for a few hours. We BBQ'd it slowly and it went down a storm with the men,the girls were a bit fussy but hey its there loss. Its easy try it.

  20. I bought one as everyone raves about them, I just could n't get on with it.I think it just didn't fit me well, and even though it was lighter than my BSA Hornet, I found it awkward to carry for long periods. probably me but I've gone back to the Hornet As A plus point the Air Arms Magazine works better than the Hornet one!!!! Hope that helps a bit
  21. I have just bought a Hawke sport HD scope, I also added the flip up covers for protection. When I mounted the scope on my BSA Hornet it was clear of the barrel, but with the rubber covers on its touching the barrel. So, the question is, will this affect the scope zeroing ?

I had the same problem, I knew it was a squirrel as neighbours had seen it go up the drain pipe and into the roof under the tiles.I put a squirrel trap baited with apple in the loft Nothing, so after some advise from here I used Peanut butter and within a day or so I had a very large angry squirrel banging the cage around looking for help.I helped him on his way alright  Hope you catch him soon....
