  5. a friend of mine has just bred some and his jill is tiny when he said she is carrying young i thought he ment she is young...... she is not quite greyhound type but not much bigger

  8. i have been meaning to put these up for a while and seeing as i didnt have much to do toninght i thought i will put them up... kenzie- my albino jill (my little girl),,,,, realy soft and cuddly ferret... Carlos as in Carlos spencer played rugby for New zealand.... the one i rescued.... Rossi as in Valentino rossi races in Moto gp...... i have now got a hutch for him, that black thing in the front of his part of the cage is just a piece of ply wood with a rubble bag stapled over it just to stop him getting beaten up by wind and rain. all of them.... me and my dad are busy buildi
  9. iwont just some said its normal, and some didnt.. so i was not sure.. but at least she is getting seeing to now..
  10. i took her to the vets yesterday i begged and pleaded witht them to see her they said no . i then said to the women at the desk when the vet calls the next patient can she have a quick look. well the vet looked at her she didnt really touch her much because she didnt have gloves on, she said its not serious but she will deffinatly need an injection, she will be fine until tuesday. thats all, it was in the middle of the waiting area. so there was nothing she could do.. so what is there not to believe..???

  13. my jill has also got a discharge, but she is eating and everything not being lazy or anything like that mate... the vet said its nothing major but she needs an injection yours shouldjust be the same but not sure why she is acting lazy mate.... all the best,, cheers jazz
  14. firstly jojo wtf are you on about if you could be botherd to read on i said i clean the crap corner twice a day i then every 2 weeks empty the cages and spray them down with the hose pipe and give them clean bedding etc etc. thats what i ment by cleaned every fortnite. and for those of you who say take her to the vets IF YOU HAD RED ON YESTERDAY I TRIED YESTERDAY i even took her to the vets before closing time and they said sorry they cannot see her at all...... the vet came out to the waiting area while i was there and had a look at her and said it nothing major she needs an injection that
  15. stubby sorry for sounding like a pratt yesterday, i was in a bad mood because i phoned this women and i was going to collect 3 ferrets from her who all lived in the same hutch and she wanted 30 quid, i asked her if i can have first refusal and she said yes. yesterday afternoon i got there and she said ohh sorry i sold the ferrets earlier.... i was not happy.,.. sorry stubbs cheers jazz
  16. personally i dont think its true. think of it as if you were good at something and you were teaching your child... lets say ..... rugby. and my dad was amazing and i was at a young age and he started showing me how to play and i got really good its not that i was born with the ability to play rugby, its just i started at a young age... and was shown.. i think thats a good example of how to think of it... (thats not a true story lol) they need to be shown how to do it. .on the other hand ferrets are hunters and will naturally hunt. cheers jazz
  17. vesectomy or castration is the same price,,, for me.... but then the same vet charges stuped prices just to look at your ferret cost me 40 pound just to have a scan on my jill
  18. thanks. stubby i no you can lose a ferret any time of year without a locator, but it is MORE likely in the summer.... sorry i thought it was just common sense..... (obviously not for some) cheers jazz
  19. in that aspect of culling i think there is nothing wrong with it (culling something which is deformed) but to go and cull an animal which there is nothing wrongfor whatever reason if it breeding lines or whatever is wrong...
  20. i personally would not ferret in the summer unless i had a locator otherwise you could lose ferret after ferret but i think ollie the young lad on here he ferrets all year round because his ferrets dont kill.... pm ollie he is a good boy and offers great advice..
  21. with the vet by me with the emergency line, you have to fone and then they will get back to you and tell you if there are more serious things... i might be able to get in today, after having an argument with the vet on the fone lol... i hope i get in today... thanks everyone..
