mate your lucky, my ferret was a week and a half over her due date and all the signs. nipples come out getting fat, took her to the vets they checked her scanned her and nothing, was absaloutly gutted really hoping she comes back into season and then give her another go with the hob..

firstly dont worry about asking i and everyone would rather you ask a question, than your jill be in trouble or anything like that. my jils sweling took about 2weeks to go down and it wont go all the way down it will stay a little swolen... although honestly mate 24hrs is a bit short i left mine in for a week... but just wait and see mate. all the best if you want any more help just pm me...

wow lol big litter.... can someone help me please my jill, is now due any minute now, she was due today but nothing so hoping for tomorrow..... do they go into labor and how can you tell... She has slept all day virtually. without waking up, she is ok and breathing. so do you think she will be giving birth tonight..?? thanks jazz

hiya i did put a post up in the ferreting section, with not much success. i was wondering what type of hunting do people do with jrts other than ratting, are they any good, with ferreting, as in chasing after bolted rabbits and retrieving them. also if anyone has a jack russell that they want to give away, or am after something as young as possible for a fair price. . please let me know what u have thanks jazz

thinking of gettin a pup mate.... so they will be around other pets at a young age, and also i have 2 cats and 2 other dogs along with 2 ferts which will become im guessing round about 8 by next week, as the one is having a litter, the 2 dogs are getting on now the mini yorkie is 23 and the shitzue must be 11-12 so a smallish dog would be better... is there anything i should look for when buying one to determin if its gna be a good worker sorry i am completly blind to all this... and just starting.... what other terriers are good workers. thanks jazz

Hi everyone, i am after some advice on what sort of ferreting you can do with a Jack Russel Terrier if any, i have asked for a spaneil but am not allwed one, but a smaller dog, may be a better option... will a jrt go aftera rabbit if it bolts.... if not what other small-medium dogs are used, in the way of terriers.. .cheers jazz
