  1. i have also been told about this squeeky nose, basically suck your lips together andkeep sucking so you make this nose, tickles your lips the first few times, i have done this to my jill for a while and whenever she hears it she comes to me..... even if she cant see me...
  2. i sell mine to flie tiers at the reservois, does anyone in south wales fish in any reservois, i have just become a member and its great fun...
  3. these are pretty good bikes, with the double shock although it is older but which is more durable than the newer single shocks, i love my bikes, racing in the british championship this year ... bargain at 50 quid if i was closer i would take it off u with no problem... also carbs are easy to get for these bikes a pitbike carb, with the k&n air filter should fit aslong as the inlet maifold is prettymuch the same so getting a carb wont be a problem... who ever buys it will get a bargain.. have u tried chucking it on ebay....
  4. yh just noticed it i have had him for a week but have never really looked underneath him like, and mine is a polecat so his bollocks have dark hair on them and i didnt notice them.... but they are big.... now that i have noticed also i do alot of reservois fishing and in i believe james mckay's book it sais feed your ferrets, on fish but not oily fish, like makrel, but something like trout or plaice, i have fed them trout and they love it but it become annoying when u have to stand there for like half an hour and make sure there are no bones in there, how will a ferret cope with maybe one

  8. yes i gatherd that but it should go away when he come out of season and when they come out does there smell die down as i had him out earlier and he doent smeall haf as bad as usual, and i dont want him to come out of season before hemate my jill....
  9. several people have told me they handled the kits the day they were born it all depends on how sure the mother is, and my jill, is very confident with me...... also does the vulva have to be completly swolen in order for her to get pregnant or can it only be a little bit..... also when the hob comes out of season will the lump on his belly dissapeare, as he scent seems to be going a little, so just want to make sure he will be ok for when she is in ful season or could i put them together now...

  13. i have got insurance which i took out cuz i am always breaking fingers and hands, this covers me for everthing, or do i need other insurance...

  15. ok thanks something to look forward to... thanks... is it a bad thing like lift the hob up and let him smell the jill through the cage because they can both smell each other without fighting, would you recomend this or would it just become a problem... sorry i am all new...
  16. yes mate dont put her in backwards and the remove your hand quickly because it then becomes a game how quick she can turn around and nip u...
  17. i seperated them its a 2 tier hutch so i just put a plank of wood over the ladder so they are completly seperated, when she comes into season i will let them be with eachother for 2-3 days and the seperate them again, im having second thought about the hob now i bought him for the jill so she wont be on her own and she gets used as a rag dole in return...... will they be able to live together at some point maybe after all the kits have gone... and they are both out of season..... .... any ideas anyone..... not in the best of moods.... feal sorry for the jill to be honest....
  18. i got a new hob last night and he wiont leave my jill along, grabbing her by the neck, she is not is season yet, could it be just cuz they are new to eachother or should i seperate them or just leave them a week or so... please i need help
  19. mine jill did it mate but she likes it if u stroke her head like a puppy, do that then stroke her head before SLOWLY moving your hand... hope it helps, i just picked up a new hob tonight and put them in together and they were dragging each other around, was like a boxing match haha.... they are getting used to each othernow tho...

  21. i got a jill and i think she is deffinatly getting swolen, at the bottom of her stomach, by her back legs, is this the right place to look, or can someone guide me please...

  23. yhhh really good looking ferret mate im new to this forum and i have got a jill which is alot bigger than yours by the looks of it, i will also be getting a polecat hob soon to kepp my jill happy... nice ferret mate,
