i agree mate you have to crawl before you walk. some say that a fac air rifle is pointless aswell because you may aswell get a rimfire as a air rifle tests your field craft whereas its easier with a rimy. i wouldnt mind going for my fac but will have a hard think about it first. cheers jazz p.s thanks grim once again.

i saw the gun on sunday and its mint well worth getting done and it looks better because the scope is done aswell. also he did a nice job on the stock.

thanks grim that is well worth knowing... is it true all the land is police approved i assume they do this when you attatch the details of the farm when you apply. what happens if you get more permission and also what is it called which you can get where you can make your own judgements about land and therefor does not need to be police approved anymore? i hope i got it right thanks jazz

i know the shot gun certificate can be given to literally any age but its not that easy to get it when your young the best bet would be to get your father to apply first aswell as yourself. iit makes things a bit more complicated like you cannot just go and shoot the land need to be police approved which makes finding permission slightly harder aswell. im not sure about the age with Fac but im sure someone can help you though mate nice looking gun by the way all the best with it.

dont you get s410s in single shot, i got a s410 in .22 and i cant fault it mate lovely gun.

6ft lb would be fone for rats and feral pidgeon in barns where you dont want maximum power.....

same here my best bit of kit is my dog, he doesnt catch rabbits although he does chase them now and again. he is a good working dog for flushing out pheasants but i just love going out with him down the fields and having some fun.. sounds sad i know but i enjoy it lol -

nice job on the stock aswell luke.. i cant fault that mate it does look mint... and the webly raider badge is not big at all it is hardly noticeable from a yard or 2 away.. so what does it matter lol.

yup was well pleased today started the day off well, with a squirrell but then Scuzy's experience payed off so he ended up smashing me 3-1 in the end.... a great day needless to say and thanks to luke for taking me out again. looking forward to going out with the ferrets...

What a load of old twaddle!!! 1st point, you say he isn't old enough to use an air rifle, then you correctly say he is, if accompanied by someone over 21, although it will have to be their rifle as he isn't allowed to own one. 2nd point, your s410 has a little recoil because it has a different spring in it??? thought it was a PCP. 3rdly, you then tell the lad That a springer is out of his £300 budget, but he can get a half decent PCP.
