lol....i dont quite no why there is 2 but there just is they are bro and sis an always lived together so i thought i should keep it that way, but when the hobs are in season i will put all the jills in the big cage.

i use wax chaps for beating, great because if you get anything on your hand you wipe it on them, and also where we go beating the thorns are up to your chest area and you have to make your own path.... hard work but good fun... get some chaps mate as everyone says

no its a home made cage proper ferret cage made of wood and ply not that wire stuff like rat cages. the guy who i got them off kept them in his garage and when i got them i havnt got a garage so they stayed inside for a few weeks while i damp proof the cage etc and now its ready they can go outside.... surely over a few days they will be used to it , its just those first few days that im worried about.

why do you enter both ferrets in a small set like that? dont they both block the rabbit in and kill it? cheers jazz

well over the last few weeks i have kept my ferrets inside, just my 2 working ferrets the other 3 are outside and have been for months, but anyway the 2 i got the cage i got them in was designed for indoors and being in a garage so when i got it took me a while to cover it in the same stuff the shed roofs are coverd in. also the cage didnt have a specific bed it had a hammock which they slept in. while i had to take that down, i bought a ferret box as there bed took the strap off cut out a hole in the front where the ventilation holes were, stuffed it with newspaper and bedding and secured it

they are more like fishing landing nets, they take the 2 pieces of thread and glue it together with waterroof glue, i imagine they work well as the landing nets do but i think they will be expensive. just like will said really... but i know through working in the fishing shop, people prefer the knotless landing nets to the notted ones wether the purse nets will be the same i dont know.

im buying a locator with some of the money i got mark 3 2 collars just what i need will put my mind at rest when out ferreting.

well. im not interested in fox hunting and hare coursing as i dont have those sort of dogs i have a spaniel..im more curious. on the shoot we go on up by brecon a few people say that fox hunting is still legal but only with one or 2 dogs i belive no more than 2 dogs otherwise its classed as a pack(something like that) also with hare coursing its only one dog not 2 ... is this true or have all fox hunting stopped with dogs... as if it is tru aslong as you have 1 or 2 dogs your not breaking the law. can someone put me straight on this please thanks

yup looking forward to it scuzy boy just got my dad to buy me a new ferret box. got my nets sorted i only have 10 though so bring as many as you can.... just hope there is holes and rabbits on this farm as i havnt been down there yet. the women says tehre is but will have to spk to her husband to find out so should be ok... lets hope so anyway mate cheers jazz

when i get my sgc certificate after xmas im going to try and keep my airarms and not sell it to buy a SG... i think with people its a case of i have got the best but i want beter (it is in my cae anyway lol) because air arms s410 is the best gun you can get in my eyes but once you have it then you want something better becaus you realise your air arms doesnt make you shoot anymore than you usually do or kill from further distances. which is why people go for centrefires and rimfires and then sell their air arms. like i said i think its a case of you have the best but you want better...... l

wish the warrens down my way were like that BUT NO!!! they are all in cover and you cant get to them.. and you never no where your ferrets going to pop out and if you have missed a hole..
