    thanks mate not desperate to sell, if someone gives me the asking price then we have a deal but until then its staying where it is.... im only selling it so i can get a rapid but i do love this gun so as i say not desperate to sell so no silly offers please...

    nice one mate.... what did it tase like i cleaned a few then went to cook them, then gave up and gave them to the ferrets lol... i didnt fancy it in the end as i saw on the one site they take like 45 mins to cook...

    well the snow has come in and down by us we are promised yet more snow tomorrow... well carl (old real tree) told me this is great to track rabbits to there warrens.. great idea when you think of it... i didnt manage to get out the other day but we are expecting snow tomorrow so i might try n get out,,, does anyone else do it, it can be good if you cant actually see the sets? cheers jazz

    phone them mate i got a few farms from doing that, you will be able to contact alot more farms quicker and even the ones you cant see... just say who you are your age and ask if you can do some free pest control on there land, i normally ask for ferrets first and then when you go and meet them then say if you have a rifle and if they have any vermin taking control of... works for me hope it works for u...

    lol.... what i find annoyin/confussin is when i was out ferreting few weeks ago with old real tree (carl) he wud pick up my locator when my jill wa off the set but still in reach which means that when you have 2 ferrets in one set how will you get a accurate reading on either of them>? cheers jazz

    try and get some permissin mate........ i got 4 farms but the one is crap the other is for feral pigeons, the otehr is for rats, and the biggest one has everything..... all depends what i feal like shooting... alot of the time the farmers wont have a clue and let u go on there when there is very little on there... cheers jazz

    kk cheers towards the front of the cage it is always wet and there water bottle is there so that could explain it.... i cover them up when it rains with a ground sheet but the warer still manages somehow to get in there... thanks everyone.

    i wouldnt use my ferrets at all..... but its ment to be good why dont you just ask the farmer to get a fork lift or summin to pick up the bales, and the rats will just run then but 1 dog wont be enough...

    I have been feeding my ferrets on Dr Johns, and i have noticed that the hob has been losing his fur on paws rapidly, his back paws were bald, but his fur has started coming back but now his front paws are bald, the jill also has signs of losing fur at the back paws. i have now changed their food to the pets@home stuff but will get some chudleys in the next few days... could it be the food or any ideas? please not everyone say take it to the vet that does no good, i will take them if no one has any good advice and hasnt experienced it before.. cheers jazz

    yup its up to u mate i learnt the hard way insted of not taking a mates advice and going for the s410 i bought 2 different guns first and then bough the s410 and i just wasted my time basically as i should have just got the s410 in the first place... another good thing which i find is if for some reason my quarry isnt dead, like a squirrel for example you cant really pick them up and despatch them by hand so with having a 10 shot its half the time it would take with a spring rifle. i do generally kill first time and dont shoot unless i feal comfortable that i can achieve a clean kill but ther

    if i go ferreting and get some with young in them, ill let them go, just increase the sport for next season... thats unless the farmer is growing crops through the summer which i dont think he is..

    you do pay for the name be honest... but then again like the ferrari landrover and escort. yes the ferrari is loads but it will handle better, maybe accelerate faster ete etc... whereas with a good spring and a good pcp like s410, the s410 will be quiter, easier to load, you get the 10 shot mag which is good... its little things like that which i believe make up a good gun,,... the bsa ultra is a good little gun not very expensive its multi shot but it has its downfalls you will only get about 30 full power shots. whereas a s410 you will get about 80ish.... im only using the s410 as a exam
