  2. well as i am new to shotguns i am confused to which cartridges to use. i have been told to use a 5 for all round general cartridge and went to the shop and they only had 6's so i got some of them. when clay pigeon i use what ever the shoot sell i think they were 7's last week.. are 5 and 6's ok for a general cartridge i use eley coles cartridges as they seem a good cartridge.. what do you use and for what.. thanks
  3. they are lovely guns mate i would have kept mine but i had a good offer on a s410 so i had to let it go... that is a very good deal i payed and sold mine for 300 with a scope and silencer...
  4. cracking hutch mate and a very good price. lads the hutch is bigger than it looks in the pic. thats a great hutch for a very reasonable price
  5. winter thick (warm) darker camo as theres no leaves on the trees etc etc.. summer brighter thinner camo. nothing special got both suits off fleabay one is laksen dno what the other is but its good quality..
  6. yes mate the trajectory is far far better and flatter. and i intend to do a little field target with this one aswell to improve my shot when im out hunting. I prefer the classic as its a longer barrel and cylinder so more shots than the Carbine and proberbly more accurate. Its much quiter although both guns have the air arms silencer why that is i dont know. This gun when i pull the trigger is much better than my 22 was i can tell that this one is set up right its much smoother. the 22 dont get me wrong is a great gun when in close but i do prefer the 177 and i have now tried both and i will n
  7. well i sold my s410 .22 and was looking to buy a rapid but didnt in the end wise choice i dont no but i am well pleased with the deal i got.... i bought a s410 177 with a faber 3ltr bottle out of date with gauge and hose but it will fly through test... rhino 6-24x50 scope with the adjustable paralyx on the front and a red illuminated recticle. 2 mags harris copy bipod and bag and sling. really good deal guns much smoother and set up properly compared to my old gun i will take some pics in a minute and get them on... really pleased... any idea on how much a faber 3ltr bottle is worth that
  8. nice one mate wish i could get a good number like that i want to make a pigeon pie lol..
  9. it says somewhere on basc that all birds even like crows have to be classed as a pest first and if questioned by police you have to state that you have tried other means of pest control such as scarecrows and that shooting them is the last resort..... so yes ducks would have to be classed as pests....
  10. lol best of luck mate let us no how u get on.... take some pics
  11. i found that i have slighlty to much permission so much that i dont think i could go back to one of the farms as i havent been there since before xmas i only really use the one farm its a shame as the farm i havent been there for ages i could have an awesome day with the shotgun there with crows etc etc i may go back there by car and see if he can still remember giving me permission.. one farm is enough but only if tehre is enough for you to go at and also providing your the only person on there as some farmers give permission to any tom dick or harry..
  12. yes looks mint mate if you dont mind me asking how much did that cost you... i sold my rifle in the end aswell mate getting a god deal on another s410 but in 177 which is just what i was after cheers for all your help.

  16. i only went in litts twice before they closed to be honest mate, and then i wasnt interested in shotguns just the airguns.... 12pound for 60 clays isnt treetops price its Rhiwderrins price mate its a clay club but they dont aim to make money which is why its so cheap compared to litts which i think is double the price
  17. lits has been bought by the sporting gun centre its still under"Litts" and the shop closed for a while but is back up now its better than it was before the whole thing treetops and the 2 shops were bought by sporting gun centre.. so 12 pound for 60 clays is a pretty good price then.. cheers jazz
