Some of the English type of salukis are hard work. Lot have bad temperaments, you can see it when ther young hiding at the back giving you the collie eye.

Saluki suit me, they will run all day, then switch off when home and arent running up the walls and driving you mad, thats if their bred right and bred from good stock. Never had trouble with the type i keep geting them back, would walk to heal, friendly to people who stopped to stroke them, wouldn't like the same strangers coming up to the car or back of the house. Only thing you had to watch out for if they was off the lead was GSD as they all seem to hate them. Best to best, how many salukis are bred that way.? And then tested before being bred.? Then people wonder why there is so much junk around. Most people will use any old saluki to breed to saluki bred lurchers.
