  1. Got out today to on our range!! The day started great with amazing weather and little wind things couldnt look better!! Had set the gun to arround 11.5ftb on sataday night and the accuracy looked promising!! Chronoed the gun this morning before we set off and it had risen to 12.5ftb whaaaat!!! !! so I tapped some more air out of the rifle and chronoed it at 9.8ftlb but as our lift had arrived I thought that would be ok for a day of target shooting and that I could pump it up a tad later on. But because we rushed off I forgot the pump !! Got settled and after about 20 shots it became obvio
  2. Good read and great pics!!!
  3. Cheers Guys!! My mate who I bought it off wants it back now haha!! Yea Its a Gas Ram, put about 100 pellets through her last night and the groups were improving been a while since I shot anything that recoils. Its not to bad on the bipod but I think there might be a POI differance when holding the rifle but I am off to good sized permission tomorrow weather permitting and I will be able to have alot more practice on our range gona be a long day of target shooting my arm will be killing me haha!! and I will let you know what any things I find out.
  4. Just thought I would put up a pic of my new gun all serviced and shooting sweet!!!
  5. Looking on the site I linked depending on which part of the ram is cracked and more than likely it will be the expensive one... main piston part of the gas ram is £51.84 and smaller second part is £21.58. Check ot the link - http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?page=6 The two parts are P110 & P116 CHECK THE DIAGRAM - http://www.gunspares.co.uk/showcatimage.asp?id=24574 Hope you get it sorted mate!!
  6. I have just bought a MTC Viper 10x44 and Its awesome!! It dont feel heavy and is a bit cheaper than the 2 scopes you are looking at worth a look I feel!!
  7. I have recently stripped and serviced my hw90 following the guide above its not to hard if you have serviced a springer you should be able to handle it no probs!! The only thing I did differant to the guide was not to knock out the pin on the cocking arm I took the barrel off instead. and as andy says first I would use the guide just to take the trigger gaurd off and re-fit it! And having serviced mine its hard to see how the gas ram could be buggered! Its fully stripable and only has a few seals to replace! And if you need any spare parts for the gun go here :- http://www.gunspares.co
  8. Just serviced the gun I am sorry for no guide I was too exited and wanted to get the job done!! The guide I have posted at the top of the page is more than good enough to do the job!! I am just sanding down the stock for the new paint job and when I have done that I will post the finished product!!
  9. Yea will do mate I will take some pics and post my progress!!
  10. The gun is was actually over power and I tapped the pin to reduce the power to well under the legal limit. You can strip the gas ram if you look at my origonal post there is a link to a guide. The only reason for servicing the gun was I have no idea of the guns history or how old it is. So I want a fresh start with it and a service can only help accuracy and my confidence in the gun.
  11. Yea mate got the adapter off ebay!! So when arrives I will test it then I can begin the stripdown!! Wooo!!
  12. Just popped into my local gunshop and we deduced that the adapter I will need is 1/8 bsp male to male! unfortunately she didnt have one in stock but ebay here I come!!
  13. Doesn't one of them come with a gas ram as standard? I forget the model number now.. yea the HW90. I just bought one second hand and its awesome loads of fun to shoot! Fooking massive though hahaha!!
  14. Cheers mate!! I have checked ebay I couldnt find anything. I think I will wait till it arrives then see what the thread is and get an adaptor. I think the fx pump is 1/8 bsp and I have seen 1/8 bsp male to male conectors on ebay so I will have to wait by the looks of things. Was hoping that someone had done this before and knew what to get.
  15. Hi guys been away for a while!! Anyway got myself a HW90 and I am going to sprip it down and replace all the seals found a good guide ( http://www.airgunforum.co.uk/HW90strip.html ). I have ordered a load of spares from chambers and look forward to the project got some Ideas for a new paint job aswell but my question is... I have bid on the charging hose required to fill the ram once I have serviced it but It dont look like it will fit my fx pump without some form of adapter. Does anyone know what adapter I will need? P.S I have no intention of making this gun overpowered I have a chr
  16. I would advise you get a .177 much more forgiving trajectory!! I switched from .177 to .22 and couldnt hit a thing. But .22 is a great calibre if you learn your trajectory (pellet drop). But check out some of zini's posts and vids and you will see what a good marksman can do with a .22!!
  17. I agree 100% Dont change you will regret it!! Trade yours in for one in .177 Calibre!!
  18. I use them in my diana panther 31 (.22 5.6mm) its the only pellet that works well in the hunk of crap!! Its my backup gun good enough for rat blattin!! I know what you mean though the quality of them is garbage very badly made!!
  19. Cheers zini will put in an order on tuesday mate!!!
  20. How do I go about getting a copy of your dvd then zini!!!
