    Cheers gaz, some knobs on here! I'm looking for a decent 1st x collie whippet! I arnt really bothered if it isnt a merle, just after a small one to put over my bitch which has seen plenty of work! cant believe how hard it is to find the right dog!

I like the look of merle colouring that's why I asked, its for personal preference not for money! No wonder this sites going to pot!

    Ha lol cheers. Ill have a good look at my field craft mate make sure I'm whispering to myself and not talking to my dog when ferreting! I know what ferrets do have been working them for a long time!

    Why use him? Well otherwise hes left in the run and not worked! Stupid question! I like all my ferrets to work! Plus its my hob i use for breeding so I like my lines to be workers not untested ferrets!

    This year I have decided to use less of my jills and more of my of my big hob, problem is he is nailing all the rabbits before they can bolt. Sick of digging lol had to dig down last week to a stop end, it was like pulling rabbits out of a hat he had that many trapped. Anyone else have this problem with larger hobs?

    Well this season its never stopped raining so a lot of my ferreting has been done in the rain. Some people won't even go out in the rain. Fair weather ferreters. Anyone else ferret in the rain?

    Whilst out ferreting this year I have noticed small pockets of coloured mainly black rabbits mainly four or five in certain sets. Anyone else had many coloured?

    Everything good this end mate, working the other whippet to now. I will be looking round for a good collie grey that isn't too big, got to be the right dog though when the time comes
