  1. Now i know in some cases eg relationship breakdowns etc..... circumstances sometimes mean working companions have to be given up!! What does boil my piss is stupid reasons for example an advert which read something like Young lurcher for sale jumping, very quick, obient, sad sale due to having a litter from my other bitch so no room for it. If there is no room for a 15 month old dog then why breed a litter from his other lurcher bitch??? I know lots of this sh*t happens but seriously what hope do 90% of pups have of finding decent homes..... Think people have problems with eg
  2. Glad I'm not the only one Matt! Some alternative options designed for the job are astronomical prices, glad I'm not the only one using the cheaper option!
  3. I've noticed prices changing within the last few weeks. One of my suppliers was a few quid cheaper than the other, now they are both more or less spot on the same all but a few pence. Yeah you are right matt you have jogged my memory from a few years back when I was vat registered by choice only so I could claim it all back. Its always the same the little man comes worse off!!!! If you are doing mainly domestic work its hard to ad the mark up in with the Joe public prices, whilst still remaining competitive with other businesses. Money makes the world go round, so they say, mus
  4. Hi folks being self employed undertaking pest control, does anyone know of any product suppliers that don't charge vat? Or do they all charge vat to self employed folk? 20% Vat on everything takes the pi**.
  5. Can anyone point me in the direction of a company supplying good quality tried and tested fox cage traps Cheers
  6. End of the day i think a lot of folk try to compare whippets to lurchers in there working ability which is crazy! A whippet is a whippet you have to take them for what they are! They will never be as versatile as a lurcher. If I had I purchased a whippet thinking its working capabilities were alongside a good lurcher I would of been very disappointed. When I purchased whippets I was more interested that the parents were working! I don't know mike brown but I chap I know of in the next road owned one which turned out a real good one, hard little dog, when his relationship broke down mike brown c
  7. Ha lol half serving for the greyhound cross
  8. Why put your ferret through the breeding process, risk of losing her if you just cull what she has produced. If you are doing that just buy one in, and have a bit more respect for the animal which you hunt with. Yes its nice to keep your line. But the vast majority of ferrets work to a good standard. Some folk have no respect.
  9. Ive learnt my lesson charging nowt for kits when I've put the hard work in, only to see them for sale again after a couple of days. So people who are moaning about paying a tenner, get a grip think about the food they eat for 4 weeks, shavings and handling. Well bred working ferrets worth a tenner all day long when the season starts.
  10. The jill will have no choice, put it this way the hob would be on a rape charge if human ha

  13. Luckily one of jills drags my hand in the nest from day 1 so I get contact straight away, but would leave well alone until you think the Jill is ready and not much chance of the jill killing them alb
  14. By any chance were the jill and the hob related? Other than than its nature, and nature will take its coarse! Alb with them

  17. must not be that bad as there are over 9 pages of comments so he must be doing something right or know one would have watched him. End of the day he is still unbeaten. Keeps people entertained certainly makes me laugh. I think hes a character. If he was that bad he would not have got to America. Good luck to him, love listening to his crap though!!

  20. Still only a young pup,and protein is still very high up on the list of demands for anything that's growing at such a fast rate If the protein levels are too high the opposite will happen and the pup will be growing too quick, bad diet at an early age can result in future problems. A good meat meal is the best as it allows for the dog to grow at a steady pace and steady protein levels, changing foods all the time to different brands causing fluctuations in goodness intake will cause growth spurts, not good for a growing pups bones, tendons, ligaments and muscles.
  21. yeah cheers mate, contacted him. hes about 2 and half hours away pal
