  6. Kits can be born all year round depending on the environment they are kept in. Seen it with my own eyes. Pet owners who's ferrets live indoors have litters all year as the temp and lighting alter things. Anyway can't be arsed explaining anymore you obviously know better.

  11. If its knecks getting a mess then leave the hob out! In the wild the jill can get away after the deed is done, not when they are trapped in the same cage
  12. That's right mate these were in a dark shed without any light! Newcastle staffordshire mate!
  13. Thanks mate I've managed to spend the time to handle them as they were biters, I've turned them around from what they were. They had no sunlight when I picked them up. Fed them up, my freezers certainly taken a bashing, was full of rabbits a man few week ago :-)
  14. Yeah thats the problem mate! Some people only keep hobs! Had plenty of interest but lots of time wasters
  15. Depends if they get caught towards the end of the season. as you would already know they stay in season until either bred with or other methods hormone injection etc or naturally towards winter. with the climate changing I've had jills stay in until november, depends if you have an entire male close by. Anyway if your not interested then it doesnt matter! Dont mind educating i suppose
  16. Ive bred ferrets for years mate so i know they are young, the picture makes them look bigger! They were still in with the mother when I picked them up, born back end of last year, late litter the women said. If i put a picrure up comparing the hob i rescued to which is the father you would see how young they are
