  1. Hi guys just asking for some advice please on a rescue lurcher i have. As you people who know your lurchers. I rescued a lurcher that was given in as the owner was moving away and couldnt take her with him. Having a few problems EG. Not stock broken so she is chasing everything and i mean everything. She is around 3 but a very nervous but loves to run. Any advice on how to go on is appreciated.
  2. Had the same problem with my labrador for the first 2 years of its life, the dog was ill everyday no matter what sort of food i was feeding him and he couldnt put on weight. Simple blood test from the vet solved everything. Sounds stupid but he had food intolerances, chicken beef pork and soya. Removed all these food now hes a different dog put on weight and is no longer ill. Feed my dog on natures diet wet food and half raw turkey legs now and again, not cheap but did the job. Hope this helps you.

  12. Hi all!!! Just wanted to no what everyones views were on shooting in spring and summer breeding months. I no rabbits sometimes breed all year round but obviously not so much in winter!!! I normally leave my shooting off until autumn returns as arnt much for gutting them when there are young inside and also leaves me more full grown for the pot in winter. I no on farmland they do need controlling all year round though but just thought id ask what everyone else does and there opinions so go easy!!! cheers folks
  13. Hi just wonderin if anyone could help with a problem with my lab retriever. He is obsessed with playin with other dogs even when he is walkin to heel on the lead he will just try and make a dash for it and go into a world of his own. He is now 18 months old and bred from working gundogs. I have tried goin back to basics but it all goes out the window as soon as other dogs come along. I am unable to work him because he has had arthritis from six months old plus just found out he is alergic to chicken, beef, pork, and soya beans. Cheers folks

  15. Hi everyone first post on this site so go easy! Just wondering what people think of the BSA Ultra Multishot? Thinking of getting one with it being small and compact making it easy to carry around when out hunting. Cheers Folks.
  16. Your pup is only eight months old mate i think you might be expecting too much it will want to play most of the time. Normally start to train them properly over twelve months of age. You can teach them the basics but they are not normally classed as an adult untill 18 months just give her time to grow up first before you knock the character out of her. Give her time bud
